I’ve seen this song covered at least a 100 times over the years. The one single factor I most appreciate about Sina is she very clearly studies the original drum track and plays it exactly like it was played.

At 70 years old I grew up with this music. Over the years music has changed dramatically, (not for the better I fear) Sina you are in my opinion bringing back the lost art of the 70's Rock and Roll groups, which makes my heart smile. Keep ups the great dedication to reviving that lost art.

That smile on Siena’s face lets us know that we are in for a musical treat. Eddie Van Valen is smiling down from heaven. Listening to this rocker takes this old geezer back a lot of years. Still sounds so good. And the Van Halen shirt fits right in.

@@cindysue5474 auctioning? It is Alex's choice. He does not have to pay an insurance bill on his equipment. Alex was the heartbeat of Van Halen. Their story has been told many times by EVH. Alex maybe wants to do other things in his retirement, he deserves every minute of it.

I hear that you have graduated! Sorry, I was in the hospital and missed commenting properly. Congratulations! I have been listening to your music for so long it makes me proud to see a young confident woman living her life her way. Is this the end of Sina drums, or will it just change? I give this an 11 out of 10. An incredible combination of precision. You might be Runnin ' With The Devil but i don't think The Evill One will Ever catch you (THANK GOD) because there's too much Love and Goodness inside you. I know that there's even more great music waiting to burst out of you. Another amazing video Sina Doering. You continue to set the bar even higher. I grew up miles away from Pasadena. I heard stories from people about seeing the Van Halen brothers playing in back yard parties. The one thing I heard and I later saw is how WEIRD Alex's drumming and drum parts ALWAYS WERE. . They captured something different. Weird but so rocking. Unlike so many who try, Sina captured both the rock intensity but also the odd approach. This really felt real. Great work, as aways. Great sound, great video editing.. but most of all GREAT PLAYING.

Shortly after I discovered your KZfaq channel, I saw a video by a "professional" drummer who recommended two things: 1.) Keep your heel on the floor while playing the bass drum. 2.) Adjust the hi-hat such that the distance between top and bottom cymbal in the open state is at least 1 inch or more. You definitely do not observe point 1, and I think you also play the hi-hat with a smaller gap... As I am not a drummer, I can't really judge who is right, but for one thing I like people who don't cling to rigid rules, and secondly, the sound undoubtedly confirms your way of playing!

Another great choice for a song to cover!! Of course, for me, you playing the drums as you do adds a ton of pizzazz to any song:)) Big congrats on passing your final exam at ArtEZ. Like so many others, I wish I could have been there for the concert, and even at this early date, I’m very much looking forward to the time in 2025 (long wait, but I understand why) when you release a recording of the full concert on your YT channel.
