ABOUT MOHAMMADI MASJID -
The Mohammadi Masjid and Madrassah Salafiyyah was first established in 1985 in a corner-terraced house on 49 Couchman Road by the Markazi Jamiat Ahlul Hadeeth. The capacity of maximum worshippers was only 50 at this point. Alhamdulillah (all praise is for Allah) after demolition of houses on the road, the Mohammadi Masjid was moved to 24-36 Hartopp Road in 1998 as a purpose-built Masjid, by the Birmingham City Council in exchange for the initial
project. Currently, the masjid can hold a maximum capacity of 500 male and female worshippers.
At this point, the 5 daily prayers were taking place in jamaa'ah (congregation) as well as weekday evening classes, in which children aged 5-12 could learn to recite and memorise the Qur'an. The masjid would also cater for a weekend dars (lecture).
Since 1998 the Masjid has grown in its worshippers and its services. Due to the growing demand of locals the Jumu'ah (Friday) prayer, Taraaweeh prayers in Ramadhan, 'Eid prayers, funeral prayers and arrangements and regular English and Urdu lectures also take place here at Mohammadi Masjid.
Currently the Masjid is in urgent need of generous donations to continue encouraging the growth of this noble project for the sake of Allah. For more information on this, view the Re-build Project page.

I was a sufi follower of Ahmad Raaza Khaan Barelvi. I stated attending abu usaamah's lectures back when he lived in keightly thats when I first came in contact with the words shirk and bidaah then from there on I went from blind following to reseaching Islam in the proper manner All praise is for Allaah. I am very happy that Allaah opened my heart to attend his first lecture even though my brother told me not to go.

The speaker, our brother in Islam, makes a lot of sense and his words are closer to the truth InshaAllah. No doubt the Ummah has much greater issues to resolve other than throwing dirt at each other. I attend Green Lane masjid and love the brothers there and... I attend the Salafi masjid and love the brothers there and... I love brother AbuMusab Wajjdi Akkari. May Allah 'Azza wa Jal unite us upon what is closer to the truth and unite our hearts.

Ma Shaa Allah (Hafidullah) I pray that all our brothers in Islam will come together for truth and true justices, and correct one another about the true Islam. Have Sabr & Emaan, and love one another for the sake of Allah (The Almighty) Remember that Sheytan is between all those who are on the right path of Islam. YOU CAN ALL FIGHT THE SHEYTAN IF YOU HAVE A STRONG SABR & EMAAN. Is very sad to see our brothers talking about one another and can't come together. Alhumdulillah I grew up in s hanafi family and we accept everything which is correct. However due to ppl like Abu khadijah nd others I started hating all ppl linked to salafees. But Jazaakallah to this Shaykh for clarifying things

To the young akhis and uktis I sincerely advise you learn the Deen of Allah subhana wa tala that which will benefit you all, not to learn "fulan said fulan did fulan ate a roast chicken with a mubtadi" laa take it from me this is not going to get you anywhere, years have past and I hardly learned anything doing this very same thing. wallahi billahi you will be using your tongue like a knife against the Shuyoukh and Talib ul ilm so save yourselves from this fitnah. As i learn more about Islam the more it becomes confusing. Not the religion, rather Muslims; One Scholar says the other is Deviant. But when i listen to both side open minded both make good argument. As my knowledge of Islam is increasing how i can stay in the right path? Like how can i know which Scholar or Shiekh is right.

Yes akhi I agree with you and jazakallahu khairan for the advise. I know this very well being part of them for time.Wallahi you will learn more about jarh wa tadeel than about Islam. Many of the youth that join them dont even know the basics of Islam. I advise the youth that are with them to please learn the Deen of Allah and dont go into jarh wa tadeel this will only occupy all your precious time and waste that time we should be making tawbah for our sins, sins that are piling up like mountains

also brother, we can bin the concept of there being an imam of jarh wat-ta'deel in this era, simply because the major scholars have rejected this concept. Sh. al-Fawzaan[ha] was asked "is there an imam of the science of jarh wat-ta'deel in this era [i.e sh. Rabee' [ha]?" he said NO the questioner said "but Imam al-Albaani said so" Sh. al-Fawzaan replied "we don't blindly follow scholar"

Salaam Alaikum, I'm a Muslim from the USA. I've heard things said about this brother, but from the first time I heard this brother until now he's growing. I just want to say may Allaah (SWA) continue to bless this brother and allow him to keep giving us the alm we need to grow. It's also a same that this brother is continually targeted. I don't know who made a certain group of Muslims the police. They really need to stop for the sake of Allaah !!!

salam alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu, dear brother abu usamah i am so happy that Allah has cleared up my confusion via your lecture regarding these matters of backbiting and attacking others. i have been muslim for 20 years and shaytaan was using this so called salafiyyah egotism to try to stear me away from the true path. i claim to be on the path of as salafiyyah because it is the right one. Allah has made me know i am on the right path. jazak Allahu khayron for clearing up these matters. i hope our dear converts will not be put off by the harsh nature and untamed words of these individuals. if there intention were good they would advise in the right way. they are making a fitnah for this ummah. and i am not a sufi, or any other off shoot.

Make dua to Allah that he leads you down the right path and that you do all things for His sake only! Also start reading books on basic fiqh and take notes and study the notes and continue learning each day and ask you local imam for advice as well, build a brotherhood with people in the masjid and in sha Allah, Allah will make it easy for you ahki. :)

Positives: - Addresses problems with hardline discording brothers from SP et al. - Good examples of double standard from them. - Counters methodology used by them with example of Imam Shafi. Things to ponder over: - Is it really not a refutation/defense/what they do themselves? - Is it necessary in Ramadhan? Why answer likes of SP? - Abu Musab and Abu Tawbah shouldn't waist their time? Isn't this the same? Allah Knows best.

It's a known fact that Shaikh Salih al-Fawzan believes the science of disparagement (jarh) and accreditation (ta'dil) belongs in the books and that its scholars are buried in the ground (i.e., dead and gone) He's recently stated that what passes today as disparagement and accreditation is merely backbiting (ghibah) and slander.

I have spoken bad of you too please forgive me akhi I got dragged into all this mess with them ikhwan for a long time I followed them and fell for there lies and fitnah and thats what it is akhi nothing else they should turn to Allah for forgiveness and leave this fitnaah. Wallahi they are destroying the Dawah of Allah and they will be questioned.Akhis/Uktis my advise is if you want to learn the Deen stay away from them

Reply by Shaikh Saleh ibn Fawzan al-Fawzaan (حفظه الله): Jarh wa-Ta'deel is (done) in the isnad, and it is in the (science of) Ilm of Hadeeth. And its people (i.e., the scholars of Jarh wa-Ta'deel) have passed away. None of them remains today! brother, wallahi they don't understand jarh wat-ta'deel either, all you hear them repeating constantly is "detailed criticism takes precedence of the praise, you have to take the detailed criticism" and they don't even know there are conditions to this and is not always the case. if someone is criticized by a scholar in detail, and another scholar who is greater than him reads the criticism and disapproves it, shuns it, and sees it as not good/strong enough, then we DON'T have to take it.

Akhis / uktis shaytaan has divided us by making us fight over petty reasons and by doing so he has slowed down or completly stopped this very important call to Allah may he be glorified and while our brothers at sp argue over who is off the manhaj, people around us in particular the youth are becoming more and more misguided. wallahi wallahi we need to put a stop to this sp fitnah once and for all. It is clearly established that we must follow the Quran and the Sunnah and from the Sunnah we know that the first three generations were the best generations. shaykh al fawzan does not believe the science of jarh wat-ta'deel is dead, rather he said he believes that the IMAMS of jarh wat-ta'deel are in the grave and none of them is alive.

akhi most of us youngsters have fallen into the trap of sp, but inshallah, so long as we are not like those fully grown men who are still muqallids of a bunch of madeenah university failures and complete non starters [aka sp heads], then inshallah, we'll be fine. i just feel very sorry for the people who follow a guy that can't even recite fatihah with tajweed and perpetually lies. even young girls who went to the school he runs complained about what they saw as perversion from him.

jazakallahu khairan kathira ahki the last time I saw abu usamah was in masjid sunnah manchester. I wanted to go up to him and speak to him but I just couldnt do it ahki I felt really guilty and two faced to approch him after what I said about him.
