As someone who was enchanted by her face when she first burst upon the scene, I must say she is still beautiful! 20 years is 20 years, people!

She is really brave and true to her beliefs. Hard not to fall in love with her...

One cannot help but admire this remarkable woman, musician, beautiful soul and human being ... It really is true what they say. The fate of all geniuses is being misunderstood!

Thanks for posting. I still have a quiet corner in my heart saved for Sinead...still one of the best live performers I have ever witnessed, and one damn powerful woman.

WOW! I've loved her music from the beginning, admired her beauty, her sense of her convictions and never backing down. Now she mothers 10 children!!! I raised 3 boys and that was rough. I give her props for that. Hope she just keeps going cause we need her.

she has a great voice, shes brave, shes very natural and she has to fight her own shadows like many other great artists...shes not like all the others and for that i adore her

To all the people on here posting about beauty and how she's physically changed - get over it. If you want your musicians to remain in their 20s then go listen to Cobain, Hendrix, Joplin etc. Come on - she's had 4 kids and has 6 step kids.... She is and will always remain a musical genius and you've got to admire how she stood up and took a stand against the horrific abuse in the Catholic church. Shame on those who didn't listen (or didn't want to listen) at the time.

I respect her more as a mother as I am a dad and love my children my 7 year old loves her version of the Erie standard "Oro s e do bheatha" .She is a good example of when you see something wrong and are in a position to say something ,than say something...in the way you know how.

I don't know exactly how to express what I think and feel about S. O'C. She suffered an unjust fate after the picture of the pope issue. Like she said, people in America wrote her off as crazy and didn't understand what she was protesting at the time. The consequences for her were unjust and I grieve for that. She exemplifies much of the history of Ireland in many respects. She is strong, smart, beautiful, tragic and unique. I wish her reputation was made full again in America.

We had and still have a big discussion about child abuse in the catholic church (but protestant curch as well) in germany recently- and it is very sad, especially when you see how MANY young man and women have been abused in school and children homes. They should have been save there and taken care of- yet they have been destroyed. There word has not been taken seriously until they were adults...

i keep thinking that at some point in my life i might have crossed paths with her and maybe just maybe she would have taken a liking to me as I have her and then i'd be sitting there now enthralled with this amazing woman

Sinéad is taking medication for her bi-polar condition so it affects her speech a bit & made her gain a little weight. She is just as intelligent & sensitive and wonderful as ever. Her voice & style & heart are impressive. So unlike anyone else. 4 kids of her own + 6 step kids = 10 kids!! Sweet Sandaled Jesus in Air Conditioned Heaven, that's a lot of kids to deal with. I'd be escaping the house everyday! I'd cross an ocean to get some distance... Naw, kids are cool. When they're asleep. Or not.
