Sadly Sinead is no longer with us - she passed away on the 26th of July at 56 years of age - she was found unresponsive in her London home - cause of death unkown - her young son recently passed away - they are together again now.....! Thank you for you loving reaction - God Bless you and best wishes from the west coast of Ireland...! RIP Sinead O'Connor.....!

😢😇🙏 RIP precious Angel of God. I love her version of this song it is more heartfelt especially because she was pouring out her feeling toward her abusive mom after she passed away.

Thank you for your lovely reaction. When she sings about her Mama and cries, she really was crying for her mother who passed away . RIP Sinead, her life was extremely troubled, hoping she is at rest with her son 🙏🙏

i just did read sad news on a news site here in the netherlands...R.I.P Sinead....Irish singer Sinéad O'Connor has died at the age of 56. Nothing has yet been announced about the cause of death. Her family reports to the Irish public broadcaster RTÉ, among others, that she has died. "It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Sinéad. Her family and friends are devastated and ask for privacy at this difficult time. 😢😢😢

Thank you very much for your reaction to this really touching and beautiful song. A song made by Prince. She sang it in her mind to her mother, who had just died. Her mother was abusive, so they didn't have a good relationship. She cries in the video thinking about the complicated feelings she had for her mother. RIP the her son. Nothing compares to him. My heart goes out to you.

And yet tens of millions of her steadfastly loyal & loving fans are mourning her death right now, unlike when YOU die where there will be, ohhhh, 0-2, 2-5, 5-8, 8-10 - maybe even 10-12, 12-15 - who actually give a shit that your insignificant, uneventful life finally ended in stunning mediocrity. Btw, dickhead, her $4.2M estate will be left to her 3 remaining children & grandkids. Knowing a little bit about Sinead's economically practical (self-admittedly) lifestyle & profound love for her children & grandchildren, one can logically infer that she has also left MANY, MANY, MANY millions in life insurance $s to ALL of them, some of which would be in the form of trusts in order to avoid the UK's costly IHT (she had a pragmatic side, too, dumbass). And, YES, the UK death-by-suicide policy pays out 100%, UNTAXED, as long as that specific route of death generates the pay-out after a 24 month exclusionary timeframe is completed following the policy's purchase. Having no profound or chronic, life-abbreviating physical maladies during her lifetime, AND owing to her prudent lifestyle throughout her life AND a keen business sense, I'd bet that Sinead's life insurance package benefiting her immediate relatives is a MASSIVE amount of money. So, arsehole, you smugly thought that what you cynically & ignorantly wrote about Sinead's life was "incisive" or "enlightening", yes??! Well, genius, she has described, in vivid detail, how she survived harrowing physical, emotional, & psychological abuse, for over a decade, each & every day, by her sadistic & immoral mother. But, then, upon graduation from high school, Sinead was able to finally liberate herself from this horrific childhood & quite rapidly achieved international stardom as an extremely talented vocalist & songwriter, winning an array of Grammy Awards & garnering many nominations, as well, and (my personal favorite, as I detest Prince & his music) DECIMATED his original version of "Nothing Compares to You", and, thereby, placed her individual imprint, indelibly, on the world stage for all to see & hear. ❤R.I.P.
