I've done work here as a contractor and its pretty damn creepy. The craziest thing is the state will renovate a floor or even just a couple rooms to turn them into offices, usually temporary, but they will leave the rest of the building untouched. You will literally have a newly renovated floor between total nightmare floors and a couple offices down the hall from flipped over gurneys and abandoned wheelchairs. Southbury Training School is the same way. Some of my guys were in the catwalks of the attic and swear they hear the grand piano in an activity room being played beautifully, they showed me the piano and its broken just dull bingk bonk noised coming from the keys. You see some creepy shit as a state contractor. Too bad most of this place has been demolished.

I really like how Seth usually tends to be more compassionate towards the human spirits, focuses more on what they are actually saying & if/ what they are able to do to help the spirits find the light so they can pass on to (not that the rest aren't, but they can sometimes get more focused/caught up with capturing evidence rather than whats actually being said/how they can possibly help the human spirits). I cannot express how frustrating it is to watch a team naively/ignorantly go to investigate a location without taking the time before hand to learn/prepare for or have a contact available on stand by that knows what to do if they come across a human spirit that clearly needs/is ready to go into the light & how to help them through that process & then get super stoked about capturing evidence but completely disregard/not comprehend what the voices they captured are actually saying when they are clearly crying out for help to anyone that will listen, only to have the team excitedly record the evidence & then just pack up & leave with out offering any assistance/guidance/solutions. I think alot of "investigators"/people often forget that these aren't just fun spooky characters that exist solely for their entertainment, rather they are the souls/spirits/consciousnesses of actual people whom are the grandparents and siblings and children & parents & friends of other people that lived full and complex lives & are the same consciousness now as they were when they were living, just without a physical/biological form. If these investigators came across a living person that was lost, confused & stranded somewhere, obviously in desperate need of assistance, they would(hopefully) stop and ask if they were okay & if there was any way for them to help or if there was anyone that they could call for them, etc... in order to get them help/to a safe place. Sorry for the long winded tangent but thats the best way i can explain it. I would REALLY love/appreciate it if you guys started to incorporate actually helping/guiding the human spirits that ask for help/obviously need help into the light into your investigations/videos so that they can pass on into "the better place". I think that would be EXTREMELY IMPORTANT work to do & i also think that c your viewers would find it absolutely fascinating & it would be good for views too!❤❤❤❤

maybe one day we'll come back. but one thing's for sure - this place is definitely haunted. where should i go next? 👀

I’m my personal opinion, I think that your videos are the best paranormal videos on the internet. You capture great spooky evidence while remaining calm. You ask important questions, give context to the hauntings, and collab with other great paranormal investigators. Allowing us to see a more calm side of their personalities during the investigations (ie. Sam and Colby, and twin paranormal) seriously Seth, keep it up. You’re doing amazing work.

I grew up in southeastern Connecticut, and graduated from NFA, a few miles from this place. When I first moved to Norwich as a teenager, my family stayed on one of the buildings on the grounds of Norwich State Hospital that had been converted into a battered woman's shelter. I can tell you from personal experience, that place IS haunted. No two ways about it.

i was just at Norwich State Hospital not long before you guys. me and my friends went there during the day. we went though all the abandoned buildings in the land and i was definitely feeling something down in the basement in the building you were in. i do tend to find myself feeling or seeing things from the past in a haunted building. but that place used to hold psychiatric and tubercular patients. during the 1990s.i had made contact with a spirit of a woman there and she died from TB. i really enjoyed being there other than the vibe i got from the basement. whatever was in there wanted us gone. and i definitely felt the presence of something non-human. im so happy you guys went there! its great spot and its history is so much more than what it says on paper. loved the video you guys!

Shoutout for making such an entertaining ad break! I wonder if that red aura in the sky at the end could have been aurora borealis, the Northern Lights. We've been having a lot of strong aurora showings this year, many of which have been visible in mid-tier states. Auroras are typically green in the northern hemisphere, but can also appear red like what you saw.

Since y’all are in Connecticut Seaside Sanatorium is a haunted spot too . The landscape is beautiful but the leftover buildings is pretty eerie . Not sure if they let people in the buildings , when I was younger groups of us would break in and explore . I never went in cause the feelings I would get from it. But awesome that you checked out the Norwich hospital that place is terrifying 😅😂

Great evidence, Seth! Your instinct telling you to hurry up and go upstairs was spot on. Honestly its hard to watch when the ghost(s) ask people to leave an area and then they just dont leave. I mean why ask if you arent gonna take the answer seriously right? People tend to forget they are the spirits of human beings, or maybe a bit more than that sometimes, but I wish ghost hunters treated it as more a conversation with someone versus lets prove its true sorta thing.
