I've wanted to cover Guilliman's parents for a while and this was such a short, sad moment to do it with! Konor was truly a fantastic figure in Guilliman's life and seeing so much of the Primarchs life reflect the tragedy here, rhyming, if you will, is as narratively satisfying as it is sad to behold! Konor Guilliman is the most influential man in the Imperium. He raised the man who would become Roboute Guilliman. You have to do the one about the coin.

The truly tragic thing is, konor didn't have to hold off guilliman at gun point.. He could've let him hold him coz the poison wouldn't work on guilliman..

@@thebitch9224The emperor looked at him as a son as well...the emperor actually loved his sons whichnis why when he fought horus the things he gave up and purged from his body was love and compassion so he wouldn't be held back from doing what he needed to do

A Spitfire with a silver tongue that could reduce the Lord of Ultramar to the moody teenager he'll always be in her eyes, and shame half of the senior command staff of the Thirteenth Legion into silence with her chastisement. Even if she didn't have any formal military authority, the Ultramarines knew better than to mess with or try to defy their grandma.

The reason I love Warhammer30k/40k so much, is how human it truly is. Pain, sorrow, corruption, altruism, hope, despair, humor, love, hate, regret.. the human factor is timeless. Thank you for all your service!

I can't help but agree, a lot of it is written to just be fantastical and cool and over the top but none of that would matter if we didn't have the more human moments to connect us to the characters. My thanks for watching!

Konor Guilliman and Terasha Euten raised Roboute well, Roboute was raised with love, care, prestige, humility and responsibility. His adoptive parents raised him to be human and a decent one.

0:52 and 3:15- Man, you really do a great job of conveying Guilliman's grief and horror in these moments. Especially in that last one, where Roboute actually sounds more like an animal than a human, much less a demigod.* Reminds me of a couple months ago, when a little boy in my neighborhood got run over. I didn't see it happen, but I heard the noises the father made, and I will never forget them. Something to note here is that this is the youngest we ever see Roboute in 40k; when his path to glory had only just begun. I noticed that you made him sound younger, almost childlike in his grief and desperation, and that was an excellent choice in my opinion. Even the Primarchs were all children, once. Looking forward to future moments with Roboute and his foster parents; in particular, while the wholesome and heartbreaking stuff is always appreciated, I do hope you also remember to convey Tarasha Euten's Olenna-Tyrell-Levels of Snark and her nonexistent patience for tomfoolery, as we see when she reprimands the XIIIth Legion Command Staff for not observing proper protocol after her son is nearly killed by Alpha Legion Assassins. * Reminds me of when Roboute infamously loses his temper at Frater Matthieu in Plague Wars for his actions during the Battle of Parmenio, and the Militant Apostolic becomes frightened by the inhuman growling that laces the Imperial Regent's castigations. Speaking of which, there are at least three moments in Plague Wars I would love to see you cover at some point: 1. Roboute and Mortarion's confrontation on the fields of Parmenio, and all of the venom exchanged between them. 2. Guilliman comforting the Child Saint Kalia in her final moments after she saved him from Mortarion( link here to a type-up I did of it if you have trouble finding it. forums.spacebattles.com/threads/an-honest-soul-rwby-warhammer-40k.930914/page-91?post=92295639#post-92295489 ) 3. And of course, the aforementioned explosion of anger.

My many thanks! That all means a lot to hear, it was a struggle to try and convey a sense of grief, on top of keeping it 'Guilliman', and factoring in his age. There are plenty of moments you touched on there I would love to cover, whether I had them planned or not (Those I didn't I shall certainly also add to the list!) It's a busy time for recording at the moment so I'm not sure when I can get to them but, rest assured they will be on the list somewhere! Konor had been poisoned by a gas attack (Remember the chemical smell the Roboute couldn't recognize?) before they found him. He knew that if Roboute touched him he would be exposed to the toxin as well, so did the only thing he could to stop his son from dying with him. Of course, being a Primarch, the toxin probably wouldn't have affected Roboute, but Konor didn't know that.

Poison gas attack but his father didn’t know that Gullimen would’ve survived the gas yet as a final goodbye made sure his beloved boy was safe and one last message/reminder he’ll never be alone
