I just wanna point out something: remember in the opening scene of the first movie where he says that before being inspired by the theater, he wanted to be an astronaut? Well now he literally made a sci-fi stage musical! How cool is that?!

The cool thing about Gunters play is that even when he couldn't pin anything down, it was because he was trying to give everyone equally important parts. Nobody was left in the trenches, not even Portia

I like Porsha, the spoiled little rich girl that actually has a likeable redemption arc.

I can understand why they wanted to go on to bigger things. Bar bands want to play arenas and arena bands want to play stadiums, right? Who with ambition doesn't want to prove themselves to be the best at whatever their talent is?

Johnnys song at the end of the movie has to be one of my favorite parts Taron Egerton did such a good job of showing that frustration and passion in his voice when he gets back up.

It's like the difference between putting on a successful musical in East Oshkosh Iowa and putting on a successful musical in New York City. It's prestige and validation. Oh, and New York City -- or Vegas -- pays a heck of a lot better too.

I remember watching this in the cinema, and when Jimmy Crystal half-heartedly said goodnight to Porsha then called her a spoiled little brat when he didn't get a reply, this little girl next to me legit GASPED out loud and whisper-shouted to her mother "That's so MEAN!", like she couldn't believe a parent would actually say that to their own daughter.

My favorite song is easily ScarJo and Bono's version of "Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For." I have so many memories associated with U2, given that I was raised on them, Everclear, and other bands.

I love the little headshake Porsche does when she's singing "I can't hear you now". My dog would do that. In dog language, it kinda means "come and get me!" He'd do that when he was being naughty and grabbed something he shouldn't have.
