36 hours before opening for Joan Osborne for the 1st time in 13.5 years at the Belly Up Tavern in Solana Beach, CA last month, I decided to make a mashup of 3 songs to end the set with. I started with my bluesy version of Bill Wither's 'Stand By Me,' which goes into 'Love Is All You Need,' (an Alyssa Jacey original) and threw in an unsuspecting 'One of Us' by Joan Osborne lyric in there:) This was my 1st time playing it in front of anyone, and only had 1.5 days to practice!
