Thank you so much Tyler❣️ This is great input for me as in German the E+O - it‘s ü with us- exists as well. So I have this ‚sound‘ naturally available😊 We also have O+E - it‘s ö - which helps a lot in accessibg the passagio and in using the mixed voice - so, for once, I seem to be blessed to have German as my mother tongue. Once more, thank you soooo much❣️

Hey Tyler, im looking to buy one of your courses. Should I get the four laws of vocal or the mix voice masterclass? I want to learn mix voice primarily and I wanted to know if you cover that in the four laws course. Thanks!
@tylerwysong
@tylerwysong Жыл бұрын
If you’re still somewhat new in your journey to mix voice then I would go with mix voice masterclass, but if you have been working at it for a while then I would go with the four laws of vocal technique. There is a ton of stuff in the new one that builds the mix voice.

@tylerwysong
@tylerwysong 8 ай бұрын
Thank you! They all vary in length. Vertical voice academy is the one with the most exercises. Mix voice masterclass and the four laws are about the same. But none of them are meant to be done all at once. They are all split up into different workouts that are meant to be done one at a time. Each workout take about 15-20 min to complete. Feel free to email me over at bookingtylerwysong@gmail.com If you have any other questions. Thanks.

When you say keep your tongue raised and fluffy, does it matter if the middle of my tongue dips? Concave rather than convex. Is that the intention?
@tylerwysong
@tylerwysong Жыл бұрын
I would say try not to overthink it too much. Allow the range of motion of these sounds to kind of direct the tongue into a more efficient position. I say that because if you focus too much on the tongue it can start misbehaving.

My problem is that I sound too goofy and when I sing forward it seems too week. I don't feel my resonance in my head. Well sometimes and then it sounds cool but. Not always know how to get there.

Greetings my friend Tyler!!....You are the right expert to make this insane reaction video and give us your opinion about this insane singer...In 2017, the music world was shocked by the bursting onto the scene of a 22-year-old singer named Dimash Kudaibergen, who performed on the famous Chinese competition show for professional singers called “The Singer”... It was just it was necessary for this young man to make his first appearance, making a cover of one of the most difficult songs in the world, a famous French composition called "S.O.S. D'un Terrien En Détresse", to be considered from that moment on as the best singer in the entire planet....No one in the musical field had ever seen a human being, being able to reach vocal ranges above 7 octaves and several semitones, that is, all 88 keys of a digital piano, which reaches a little more than 7 octaves and as if that weren't enough, sing the more than 12 languages...Since then all kinds of experts (Vocal coachs, singers, musicians, analysts, singing teachers, youtubers, reactors, etc.) have dedicated themselves to reviewing their presentations to try to understand how someone can sing this way...The incredible thing is that that presentation in China was in 2017 but what Dimash has done in these 5 years is to further improve his wide vocal range, which is currently practically above of the 8 octaves... The Covid pandemic stopped his concerts worldwide, all with tickets sold in just seconds, via the internet, but at the same time it ended up catapulting him to the top of popularity worldwide...Anyway, since I think you are one of those reactors who have not yet met this impressive singer, here is the link of that presentation in China in 2017, with the song S.O.S. and I would like you to mention my name as the person who recommended him to you...You have to be prepared because your channel will explode with an avalanche of views, comments and new subscribers....I leave you one more recent video than the others, so it does not have the same number of views as the previous ones, which have millions of views, but it is a more complete video, with an intro, subtitles in several languages and with the improved quality of audio and sound....kzfaq.info/get/bejne/mKqIZqmZ0t-ykZc.html

When I sing the mixed vowel, It does not sound like (U sound). Does that mean I did wrong?
@tylerwysong
@tylerwysong Жыл бұрын
Possibly. It won’t sound exactly like an “U” though. But it’s possible you are just changing the vowel completely which would be incorrect for this exercise.

I guess this might be another approach to the "twang" region? Physiologically and accoustically there're so much simillarity.
@tylerwysong
@tylerwysong Жыл бұрын
It would definitely depend on what we meant by twang? People use that word now to mean lots of different things from what I’m showing here. However I could see why you would bring this up. Most people use the term twang as some sort of narrowing in pharynx but with this exercise it’s the opposite, we are getting a slight narrowing in the mouth from the floaty tongue posture, that way we can leave the pharynx alone with a slightly lower first resonance or formant. Hope that makes sense.
@owlmega-101
@owlmega-101 Жыл бұрын
@@tylerwysong Thank you for this reply, you definitely explain the concepts really clearly. Personally though, I somehow relate the feeling of floaty toungue posture to the feeling of narrowing in pharynx. Can feel the narrowing effect but can't differentiate between the two. Guess I have to experiment with it alot to find my way through. Will definitely check out the Four Laws, since you're one of the few singing coaches that keep offering excellent contents.

@@owlmega-101 Yes it’s a bizarre phenomenon. Ken Bozeman (one of my teachers) calls it perception deception. I think that’s a great way to describe a big challenge we all face when learning to sing. Things aren’t as they first appear to be.
