Very well articulated. I have a master in finance with Distinction yet your video is top notch .why I watched is because is have refinance my sibor to fix rate to 3.88 % for 3 years .Well bank works by system and statistical analysis so they will always make tons of money in any climate because there is always sucker available 😂

Actually hl rates in sg are relatively low even at 4% if you compare it to many countries. Good video on creators POV but actually taking up a HL is a lifelong commitment... Unless one strikes lottery or gets a huge bonus most would nt pay down the loan and continuing servicing it til 65. So its impt to look at the bigger picture as well. It maybe unfair for me to say that Miss Chee is right because she has used low interest to service her loan but in reality HL loan rates in Sg has been kept too low too long. So for Ms Chee to pay a higher int in the next 2 yrs- if you even it out at the end of the tenor, you maybe looking at her paying ard 2-3% P.a which is fair and ard HDB loan rate. hahah just my 2 cents and my personal opinion as well 🙏

Nice explanation bro, 😎😎👍👍 If you choose Fixes Interest, can the interest still go up after the lock in period? For an example, if I'm on a $400,000 mortgage(fixed rate) with the bank for 10 years period, is there anyway to predict how much I need to pay for the 10th year installment? Can the interest start with 4%+ and go up to like 20%+? 🤔🤔🤔🤔In that case, it's big risk right?

The max u can choose is only about 5 years currently. Anything longer than that we can’t predict

I just want to understand, what is the max possible interest percentage that could go up. In the past, have you ever seen monthly installments go from like 2000 to 4000 and 4000 to 8000?
