For all we know, Taylor’s team might have fleeced Singapore for more money and special treatment when they didn’t plan to visit other ASEAN nation anyway. I mean Seoul and HK didn’t even get a date. Singapore had been hosting the F-1 annual racing exclusively in the ASEAN region for more than a decade but not a whimper was heard from the rest of ASEAN countries, so what is all this fuzz on this Taylor Swift concert? Even without any restriction, Taylor Swift is unlikely to go to the other ASEAN cities for the reasons I had listed above. She is more likely to prefer going into China where more money can be made if time and China authorities permits her. It’s also a ‘gamble’ and it will be disastrous for the Singapore organisers if the attendance turnout for the show fail badly. Maybe it’s a bit ‘hard handed’ but as I said it’s business. 3. Many popular Thailand artistes CAN command a pack stadium when they perform. (Not Singapore). They don’t need a TS, really. On the contrary, the stadium might not be full if TS will to perform in Thailand as the entrance fee will be ‘rocket high’ and it will be a very high lost business venture for the organisers if they have to ‘fork out’ US2 to US3 US millions per show for TS to perform there. 4.
