@@allanwilson take the earliest ETS train from KL, straigth to Padang Besar, and connect with the Thai Train around early afternoon...right at the Thai side...reaching Bangkok for breakfast the following morning. I don't know anymore from what train station. In Kuala Lumpur we had Hotel close to the station. Good location small rooms. Last stage was Kuala Lumpur Singapore. In Woodlands we were very lucky. Hey Allan do you need proof of onward travel for these land border crossings?
@allanwilson
@allanwilson Жыл бұрын
I don’t think so but I cannot guarantee. I arrived with a tourist visa (got it at Penang) and was asked for onward travel documents for the application. At the same time, I’ve arrived at borders with no proof of onward travel many times before. The Malaysian border a handful of them. Things are a bit tighter these days but, as long as you don’t seem sketchy, I don’t think there will be any problem for a simple visa exempt stamp. I was in a visa agents office in Penang checking prices etc and literally watched him copy/paste/edit an old flight document and save it again as a pdf.

@@awequayzngs1780 very simple, you build feeder bus routes to the stations. I wonder the point of this video. There isn’t even information on the duration of each rides n prices, which are two most important factors when choosing such an alternative. Useless.

Dont understand why in Thai train bed has to be set up by attendant.. How hard is it that passengers cant do it themselves. What a waste of time !!! So inefficient..
@allanwilson
@allanwilson Жыл бұрын
Tbf I’d probably fail at it. At least I’ve had to do my own beds in Japanese ryokan and they end up coming apart in the night. It also gives the conductors something to do as they’re pretty much twiddling their thumbs most the journey. Efficient use of manpower.

The train prog should begin from the great Johor state instead of island City (10 km long) to great cultural capital of Thailand via 100% passing through Malay heartland. KTM is Malaysia owned land transportation rail system.

I am literally on a train between 2 destinations. A toddler could pretty much follow it. I even list the stops along the way. With vlogging I find the opposite. I prefer immersive travel rather than listening to annoying jingles or some gaunch yammering over the natural sounds (although, tbf, the audio isn’t great here). Otherwise it’s literally point and shoot so no time wasted. I’m not being intrusive either like those obnoxious vloggers spoiling other people’s journeys with their incessant/pointless narration. Ever been in a cafe/restaurant with one of them. Jeez those guys are the worst.

Your title should be Singapore to Bangkok Thailand by TrainS (via Malaysia). It's misleading, I thought there is a single-line Supertrain from Singapore to Thailand. The train system in Malaysia is pathetic.

Wait till u see Thailands train system… tbf this entire region should have been connected by high speed trains years ago.

@El Toro Single line super train from Singapore to Thailand? Lol That can only happen if Malaysia is in the picture since it’s in between Singapore and Thailand 😂 and no, the train system in Malaysia is definitely not pathetic.

Single super line train that allows Singaporeans & Tourists bypass Malaysia to go to Thailand? Why would malaysia build that? Singapore KL air shuttle is one of the busiest and most lucrative sector in aviation and Air Asia is based in Malaysia. It’s just business decision.
