Singapore Kampong Glam Ramadan Bazaar 2023 Food Tour | Singapore Kampong Glam Bazaar Stalls
The historic precinct of Kampong Glam comes alive once more with its annual Ramadan bazaar, featuring an array of colourful food trucks, local and international retail shops, entertainment programmes and more.
Organised by One Kampong Gelam in partnership with Singapore Tourism Board, this year’s event, titled Raikan Cahaya Ramadan (“celebrating the light of Ramadan” in Malay), opened on Wednesday (Mar 15). It will run for 33 days, until Apr 16.
The Kampong Glam Ramadan Bazaar is a popular annual event that takes place during the holy month of Ramadan in the Kampong Glam area of Singapore. The bazaar offers a wide variety of traditional Ramadan food, drinks, and desserts, as well as clothing, accessories, and other merchandise.
Visitors to the Kampong Glam Ramadan Bazaar can expect to find delicious treats such as satay, biryani, kebabs, and other grilled meats, as well as sweet treats like kueh, chendol, and other desserts. The bazaar also offers a range of traditional drinks such as sugar cane juice, rose syrup, and iced milo.
In addition to food and drink, visitors to the bazaar can also browse stalls selling clothing, jewelry, and other accessories. There are also performances and activities such as henna art and cultural performances that showcase the rich cultural heritage of the Kampong Glam area.
