Singer 632G metallinen ompelukone. Erityisen siisti ja pehmeästi toimiva yksilö.
Singerin G-mallit on aikoinaan 70-luvun tienoilla Saksan tehtaalla tehtyjä. Tehdas lopetettiin kannattamattomana, koska se teki ylilaatuisia ompelukoneita. Ja ovathan nämä hienoja vekottimia, ei hihnoja vaan metallisia hammasrattaita (vain käsipyörän ratas on lasikuitua tai jotain sen tapaista, ei kuitenkaan ihan perusmuovia). Metallisten rattaiden takia nämä G-mallin koneet käyvät vähän roheasti, tai ainakin mitä minä olen kokeillut, mutta tämä yksilö toimii oikein pehmeällä äänellä, joka ei ehkä tämmöisessä halpiskameran äänityksessä pääse oikeuksiinsa.

Just bought one like this.... Have never used a sawing machine in my life so this demands a lot of reading and learning. First job would be oiling spots and spare parts if needed... Looks god tho'. Any suggestions? Best wishes from Norway 🙂

Open the lid and other easy-to-open parts, clean and then apply a small drop of lubricating oil to the places that seem to be moving. Remember to use lubricating oil, in moderate quantities, do not pour oil into the electric motor! Then you spin the machine and when it feels like it's running smoothly, you wipe the excess oil from visible places, the job is done. Spare parts are only needed if something is broken.

@@jariselkisalo4843 Thank's! just opened the covers and there are some places with grease to and I guess that to should be of a special type to? Already got the oil...

It doesn't have to be anything special, for example a regular universal oil is fine. It can be found in regular markets. There are countless different brands of suitable oils. You try with your own oil and if the machine seems to work smoothly, the oil is probably good.
