Singer Island Shelling MacArthur & Ocean Reef

Shelling Florida’s southeast coast at MacArthur State Park and then I hopped south to Ocean Reef Beach. On this beach walk the Atlantic was sure whipping up a fuss but amongst all the tossed-up seaweed the seashells awaited me. Scotch bonnets, moons snails, lettered olives, my lion’s paw pieces and lots of sea glass. Big chunks of coral washed up too that I got to admire along with some sea sponges. Hi Roxann! The Scotch Bonnets were definitely my favorite from your trip today 😍 They're so small and adorable! I was quite intrigued by how your restore those helmets back to their juvenile states, that's so clever! Thank you for taking us on another great beach walk.

Hi Roxanne! I was at Coral Cove on Tuesday at low tide. No shells in the rocky area but I found my first sundial in the high wrack line. Walking north by the water I was blessed with a beautiful whole lion’s paw. Wednesday was Juno Beach with tons of seaweed hiding the high wrack line. Persistence paid off with a scotch bonnet and small lion’s paw. I also found a seaheart bean and seaglass. Great trip to your side of Florida!

I am south of Melbourne Beach and these on shore winds have been making HUGE rack lines.

Awesome. I was out for a little today but didn't see much where I was (south Melbourne), but it was REALLY windy. I'll go tomorrow and see what's up. Usually after crazy wind 1-2 days after are GREAT rack likes too :-)
