I was 27 in 2008 when a local reggae producer/record store owner recommended me Mikey Spice's "Walk A Mile" CD... I loved the album so much, just a great vibe throughout... I still have the physical copy somewhere. I really loved that album. So great to finally hear him speak after all these years

Mikey Spice is extremely talented and difficult to interview. He is eccentric. Teach Dem was very patient. Beres is difficult to interview too. Just put them in front of an instrument and you will see who they are. Talking is not their forte.

He makes perfect sense to me compared to the shallow hurry come up mercenaries putting out so called music nowadays. I wondered if he was aloof or arrogant but after listening to him, eccentricity and all, I find him a jamaican( if not world) musical treasure. Gwaan mi Don and where would we be without teach dem😊? Just from how he speaks you can see that he has a clear and purposeful intention within everything he does...even up to his answers to your questions!..
