Thank you for the reaction video! I am one of Tokyo Terrace Music Production's member and we were in charge for the instrumentals. I appreciate you getting emotional over the music, and I'm glad you noticed some of the small details. This song represents Moona's gratitude towards her fans for keep supporting her. It was released on Feb 15 which is her birthday. Please look forward for even more in near future!

This song is about Moona thanking all her fans, friends, and everyone that has been very supportive from the start of her debut until this very moment. In the song video description Moona say that she hope this little love song can reach our heart and it 100% did. Oh and you can find translation from the fans on the comment.

I appreciate that you get as emotional over music as I do. Understanding a little more about Moona's backstory and how she went from shy, quiet, few friends, and low confidence to the wonderful and amazing entertainer Moonafics know her as today makes this song even more impactful. I'm not ashamed to admit that I cried like a baby the first time I heard this song and even more so after I read the translation of the lyrics because of how proud I am of Moona and how much she's grown. Thanks for reacting to this!

Lyrics are available on the top comments in the video. (You will need to filter the comments by “top” and scroll down a little bit) By the way, feb 15 is Moona’s birthday. She dropped this song the day after her celebration stream.

Moona is an absolutely amazing singer. And this song is just sooooo beautiful!

This is the most beautiful song I’ve ever heard from Moona Hoshinova. She’s from Hololive Indonesia Gen 1, and the English CC is on the KZfaq video, too. The song is Moona expressing her long and gratitude for her fans, the Moonafics. She sang this original song in Japanese and she dropped it on her birthday (Feb 15th). I always shed a tear every time I hear it. Great reaction, Roar!

I knew it was going to be big when the piano sounded. I'm a sucker for piano in songs. The tone is right in my alley, emotional but kind of sad. Her voice is very strong, and in my opinion is suited for this kind of song, lyric heavy. This song hits like a truck really. Moona's voice is something else.

I'm a bit late on commenting but Moona had always looked up to Pekora and really wanted to do streams with her. But she was anxious/shy/terrified to ask due to her not knowing any Japanese until she was in tears asking for help. She eventually got to do a stream with Pekora late last year, at the end of which she promised Pekora to study Japanese (and Pekora english). This song was released no more than like 3 months later.

Your reaction is the same reaction I had when I first listen to this song blindly 😆. Choked up just from her voice. It's so full of emotion. I cried my heart out at the end of the song after second listen. You can definitely appreciate this song without knowing the translations.
@CageNightwind3 жыл бұрын
The fact that you could get blown away to tears without even knowing the translations but FEELING her emotions... That is why I appreciate you as a person.. The analysis and breakdowns are why I appreciate you as an entertainer (And your overall passion for music of course.) This song did that to me as well... And so did Towa's cover of ERROR. Bless. I hate how many great reactions I've missed due to my sub box. Even turning on the bell might not help since I get a lot of clutter on my alerts as well.. (But I will anyway!)

Agreed! Towa and Aki Rose are both a must listen! And both have original songs, since you expressed concerns about copyright issues with covers.
@Seele2015au3 жыл бұрын
@@lareolanKFP There are many outstanding talents at Hololive, Moona, Towa and Aki are definitely among the best, but the list should also include Amane Kanata, with a vocal range enough for her to sing both the male and female parts of a duet, and explosive power, Hoshimachi Suisei, and fellow ID1 member Ayunda Risu who not only has a wide range, but the skill to alter the timbre of every note that she was able to voice-act an entire cast.
@lareolanKFP3 жыл бұрын
@@Seele2015au I didn't omit them because they aren't as good, I omitted them because they primarily do cover songs, and ROAR tries to steer clear of those due to DMCA strikes.

Yeah, the clue to her character is all in her name. Moona, is definitely a nod to the moon. Then her last name is Hoshinova, Hoshi in Japanese means star, and nova is another reference to stars. Her character is themed around a fanciful idea of the moon and stars. As for the song itself, we can look at the title for a hint on what it's about, "Ai no Chiisana Uta" means "A Little Song of Love" I don't know enough Japanese to get a full grasp of the lyrics, but it's actually not a sad song. Its tone is melancholic, but the lyrics are actually a wistful and heartfelt outpouring of love and dedication. Here's a few translated lyrics: "Without you I'm just a star that isn't shining", "Together with you, I can go on through these days with a smile"

Thank you for the reaction to a non-rap song, ROAR. The lyrics are available in the comments section of the video on YT. The song is Moona's love song to her fans - the Moonafics. Moona is from Hololive Indonesia 1st Generation, she speaks very little Japanese (she is actively studying it), yet this song is in Japanese and as you heard is absolutely BEAUTIFUL! Feb 15th is her birthday and also the date when the song was released. Hope this helps provide some context. If you're open to other Hololive songs, I'd suggest you check out Aki Rosenthal's SHALLYS: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/f89npdd_xq3QnKc.html It is written and sung by her in her native (lore) Elven language (make sure to turn on English subs since she is singing in a fictional language you won't understand).

This is a copy paste of one of the translation in that song comment section Verse 1: I feel so happy now, because your warmth brightens up my day Shines my heart that's cloudy like the moon softly, and all that.. Chorus: Gets rid of the fog that covers me. Without you I'm just a star that isn't shining. This little love song, is just for you to listen to. Verse 2: Even though I've gotten my heart ready for tomorrow. I'm lost in confusion trying to chase my dreams. But because of you... Chorus: Together with you, I can go on these days with a smile. Without you I'm just a fallen star. With this little love song, I want to be someone that you won't forget. Bridge: In the night, the wind blows through my body. These sleepy eyes in the moonlight. Chorus: I'll love you till these bones melt.* Without you I'm just a star that isn't shining. This little love song, is just for you to listen to. TL note: *It's an expression, meaning she loves us so much that she will still love us even if her bones melt. Don't know how to translate it without soounding weird.

hey Roar, some of the hololive songs have English subtitles, they are not the best but I guarantee the accuracy, at least most of the music will be translated correctly, you can activate the subtitles by pressing the subtitles button on youtube, in this specific song there are only in Indo and Japanese, but just in case if there are a lot of people asking for hololive songs, you can test some
