I looked high and low then put my sewing machine away for a few years. Recently bought a hand held one but it broke so I gave it one more shot. I tried you tube, Google, singer site and chats but couldn’t for the life of me do this then YOU came along! For the first time in my life i am using a sewing machine ane I got it working snd sewed my pillow case lol. Thank you!

I bought this machine today, and was confused when the demonstrator showed how to operate very fast. I browsed through KZfaq and found your video. Voila! @@sandrafagering3630 I have a question now that I've started working with it! I adjusted the tension on the tension wheel and it started acting weird, keeps getting bunched underneath the bobbin so 3 threads come out underneath, and then when that doesn't happen I'll pull it away and both stitches will come out on both sides so it didn't actually stitch together! I'm so confused. I hope I didn't ruin it already 😩 I'm worried that I messed it up by adjusting the tension and didn't realize I was supposed to do something else!

I just got this sewing machine for Christmas. It’s been years since I used a sewing machine and needed help figuring out how to thread the Bobbin, and the machine. Your video helped me tremendously. Your instructions were clear and concise. After going through half of the video I was already sewing and altering a bag of clothes that had built up. I cannot thank you enough. Thanks so much! I was having a heck of a time with the threading and bobbin (I'm very very new to sewing and the written instructions were ok but seeing it done really makes all the difference) Now to just play around with the fabrics I have and see what works!

I brought this machine for my daughter for Christmas to keep her off of mine lol. Thank you so much for making this great tutorial. This is the only one for this machine. If I can make a suggestion, it would be great if you can do a video on the capabilities of this machine.

I purchased two machines, one for my SIL and the other for a friend for Christmas. I spent about a week playing with one machine so I could make the tutorial, so they could each open their gifts and have some helpful tips in setting it up. I have a 30 year old Singer that my mother purchased for me on my 21st birthday. It was fun to play around with a new machine and I think it is perfect for first timers. I know there are much nicer machines out there, but once you start learning the fundamentals of sewing, you can easily bump up to a much nicer machine. My SIL is bringing her new machine over on New Years and I can certainly play around with it more to see what all it can do:)

Great, helpful video. I could not figure out where in the heck the bobbin went, glad you cleared that up. LOL- Still not sure what the second Spool Pin is for, but I' m sure once I play around with it for a bit curiosity will take over and I'll look that up, too. I am hoping to upgrade my sewing skills to 'amateur' this year, retiring my 25+ years old singer to this model will hopefully help. Thanks for the vid, you gave a great amount of info. without any extraneous chit chat. Really well done!
