Guy's cousin was in a bad place and was contemplating suicide as he thought the world would be a better place without him...Guy spent many long hours talking to him and he's in a good place now...Guy wrote this for him and others who are feeling fragile...Also he has lost a family member and a friend and band member to suicide...From which he wrote Choir which won 'Australian Song of The Year.' Guy and his wife Jules have also set up a foundation in Australia called The Sebastion Foundation to help young people struggling with mental health issues. Jules brother unfortunately committed suicide, so did Guys best friend who he wrote the song 'Choir' about, but Guy also found out his cousin was struggling thats why he wrote this song to let him know he's never alone.

Seriously, one of the best singer/songwriter musicians on the planet. He’s written some beautiful very profound songs and his runs are amazing. The song is about being there for someone with a mental illness who is in a bad place you might not always succeed in helping them but you can always be there.
