I too, really enjoy how they left it with just J.None singing at that beginning part because, like you said, it just captures you into the song and makes you curious with what you're going to hear next. The last minute of the song pretty much, also like you said, is insane! It just goes crazy and Geoff did a really amazing job with the arrangement. I've also noticed that you always groove with the song but then whenever Geoff or someone does a low note you just completely stop and go to a straight face like, "se- seriously?" You're soooo, so, so close to 70k subscribers and I hope you get to that point by at least the end of today, and then it's off to 80k which you'll get to even faster than you can imagine. Keep doing great reactions like this and you'll be at 100,000 in no time!

The last half of the song was so powerful. A great balance to the gentle and inspiring nature of the first half. So well done by all.

I love it!! They did such an amazing job here! Everybody shines, and rightfully so! Vocals and harmonies are perfect. They just pulled me into the movie, and left me with a warm sense of hope! Special mention to Eli and Layne. EJ has an awesome voice! Beautiful rendition!!

You know EJ is the guy from Voctave that holds the note out FOREVER on their version of "O Come All Ye Faithful"?

If you haven't listened to oh come all ye faithful by Voctave. Dude what are you doing with your life. EJ is an absolute monster in it. If you have already reacted to it, my bad. 😂

Great reaction, as always! And I'm with you - the last minute of this arrangement is just stellar.

I would love to see EJ join Voiceplay. Love him in Voctave, but I think he would be used more in Voiceplay with his beautiful high tenor voice. Great cover as usual and great reaction too. That final chord was chill inducing with those beautiful highs and Jeff coming in under them with that final earth rattling low note.

Hoping for as many VoicePlay and Voctave crossovers as possible.

One reviewer compared the last few chords to the finale of a drum and bugle corp. but you are also right. It is also very much like a giant organ finale.

I've been waiting for you to react to this one. I knew you'd appreciate what a complicated, beautifully layered arrangement it is. The former Sweet Adeline in me still gets giddy over that classic barbershop harmony at the very end. So, so good. And congrats on nearly 70K!

Don't you know the Beat Boxer was voted the Most Annoying Student by his elementary school teachers when he started practicing all of those sounds in class. Yes, teachers vote on this stuff. Don't judge. Get enough liquor into a teacher and you would be surprised what you will learn. I am a retired teacher who voted on my fair share of categories in the teachers' lounge. 😉

I hope EJ stay with them, he is a perfect fit. There's a husband and wife team from my home state of Utah that do Disney covers with a twist. They take two songs from different Disney movies and combine them perfectly to sound like one song.

I love them, and no one can deny their amazing talent, but this one misses the mark for me (as they sometimes do), because of the arrangement. The songs we love have hooks, and to quote another song, "The hook brings you back." When you cover a song, your arrangement can safely mess with certain elements. But if you bend the hook, it's not a hook anymore; there's a cognitive dissonance produced that takes something away from my enjoyment. They don't do this often, but PTX and Home Free never seem to do it; those folks seem always to recognize and protect the hooks of the songs that they cover.
