Tip 1: LISTEN! Make sure you are listening to the dynamics, articulation, breath, and vowels of whomever you are trying to sing with.

What a good start for me. I can sing, I think I'm good. But I can't do blending. Even though I am the main singer, I always got carried away with the ones trying to blend in. Then we'll all get distracted. Such a handful 😞

Thanks! This is really helpful. I've heard a lot of comments recently in various youtube videos about blending and was wondering what that entails. This helps a lot - I'm singing some harmony church tomorrow and was looking for things I could do to blend better!

I have a question; Im singing with my girlfriend soon, I'm used to singing with other men. But I don't know how to find the right key when we are both singing. I have a very deep singing voice and hers is high. How do we match?

I have that problem too the deep voice it’s hard to sing with outer I mean with outer different people

Either of you might be able to harmonise! Since there are usually higher or lower harmonies for each song, you might be able to sing the melody of the song in a key you are comfortable with and your girlfriend could sing the high harmony, or she could sing the melody, and you could sing the lower harmony :)

It's hard and takes some practice, but you will get there! Do you know what you struggle with specifically?

The way I usually get it down is by thinking I’m Impersonating the other singer, Almost as if you are teasing or mimicking them, If you overdo it as far as copping them that’s good because you can continue to practice that and learn how to hold it back so it matches almost perfectly
