Just adding some background information, when she was introducing the song, KZ mentioned that her parents were in the audience and that they were celebrating their 29th wedding anniversary. She then dedicated this song to them. She's also mentioned that she learned the saxophone trick from her grandfather.

You should have been there when she sang that! It was amazing and lovely, we were just in awe and confused somehow when she started doing the sax part. We were asking was she actually doing that? What? But was in awe when we realized it was really her! 😍 The song is by the Carpenters. Of course she did it again and made it her own. Haha and of course i'm sure you both know the song. Before she actually did the sax part, she said in Filipino that "This is what my grandpa taught me". And actually before she did this segment she told the sax player to take a break, go shopping outside for a while. And we just thought she was just joking with him. We all didn't expect what happens next. And there you go! 😊

KZ almost lost her voice when she was in her junior year in high school, she had polyp in her throat and got operated she thought she will stop singing from there because she can't reach very high notes since then, but she still find her way how to show her talent in her very own way.

She is one of those few that truly uses her voice as an instrument, quite literally in this video. Whitney is one I can think of. Her vocal control and artistry is crazy and i see bits of similarity to Jessie J whom I think uses her voice like an instrument too. They are still very different and special individually but I can imagine them complimenting each other really well! Hope to see them perform a duet one day!

Kz said her grandfather tought her that unique talent but with banana leaf on the lips but she couldn't even make it having a banana leaf on her lips that's why she did her own without banana leaf and it worked that's why she used to it since then without banana leaf.
