I was playing the Song in the kitchen and my 14 month old holds the beat for a few Bars tapping on the table. It is incredible how they catch up music patterns. He can barely talk a few words. I wonder every day about that incredible brain nature gave us. Have fun guys.

Kid was born with it. Has nothing to do with parents. I know because neither of my parents are musical and I was born with perfect pitch, and an ability to find my way around scales, without being taught. Musical improvisation comes effortlessly to me, and will to said baby. Parents are just along for the wonderous ride. Makes it even more special. Not something that can be learned.

I found myself doing that at a family's house once (keeping a steady beat with my fork on the bowl/plate) and was delighted when one of the young kids joined in! He had really good rhythm so it was an immediate impromptu jam session with our utensils. Others started dancing. Good times!!

❤️ I swear babies understand what the others are saying! 🤣 Once I was at a government center. The lines were long. It was hot. Everyone was crabby. There were people there with their families. All of a sudden 3 little ones, probably all around 2- different ethnicities whose families spoke different languages- toddled over to each other and just started... talking! They’d wait turns, look at the one speaking, match each other’s emotions, start laughing together. I’m sure there’s a rational explanation, but at that moment, it looked like they were having an _actual_ conversation!

@@funpetscanada they do? I had three already, now I am surrounded by nephews. Just yesterday a neighbor's baby who have never seen me before fell over, started crying, and as I opened my arms she came straight to me, let me hug her in comfort, and set on my leg, in my hug until her older brother came and took her home. But thank you for the SCHOOLING IN CAPITALS.

Greetings from Bulgaria! I came across this video some days ago and I have become totally addicted to it.For the first time in my life I hear a baby singing a melody.I send all my admiration to baby Liz and her father Rafael for their wonderful rendition!
