I was in the audience for this audition. The cat was a screen projection. Clever how they put it on stage for the TV showing.

Why we could hear the judges comments during the performance is maddening! Why did they have that? Because it was just an image? Distracting from the beauty & power of the singer; Tom Ball. There have been hundreds of singers on the show but this one was by far the best I've ever heard. Stunning. Tom Ball should be selling millions of records just from this one performance alone.

The same computer-generated cat appeared on the last series of the French version of Got Talent. His name on that show was Nouille which is French for Noodle. The singer behind the voice was later revealed to be that of a former contestant from an earlier series. Maybe the singer this time is a previous BGT contestant?

This is such a great and amazing act whoever did this is just amazing and I would like to see this in the semi finals

If I’m not mistaken The singer who hides behind noodle is actually called Michael Dos Santos. He participated in "France’s Got Talent" in 2016 with his true identity and he participated again last year with noodle and to reveal that it was he who was hiding behind this cat in the semi-final

For anyone wondering in person you just see an animation on a screen like a short film. For TV “magic” they used CGI to animate the cat onto the stage. But either way no there isn’t any real 3D creature there it’s not a hologram or anything like that lol.
