Finally the time has come! Marlies and I finally found some time and got together to do this collaboration cover of the famous time after time by cyndi lauper. Only took us almost a year since the last collaboration. I guess that was easier since we were both in the same place in real life. Feels like ages ago!

You're such an awesome big brother! Marlies is really fortunate to have you as her big brother. I would bet that you feel fortunate to have her as your little sister. A person has to be quite unobservant to not see the love that connects the two of you. She has that quality of voice that you just want to listen to without pause. Right now, both of you are my heroes.

Hi James :-) I think so too...they both sound great and since he is singing this song with his sister, it seems like he's saying to her (Big brother's got you and will always be there). Makes me think of my 2 older brothers and how they always have my back.

Can I adopt you two. I watched this twice and see you young folks enjoying, their must be inherited talents. I am sorry not being able to give you dublin baskers earlier recognition. To you and all your friends that entertain us you folks would be #1 reason to visit and fly.. I'm 61 yrs old and have never flown. Scared of heights and.....crashing. I would only do the same for Phil Collins.

Schitterend, Marlies heeft een specifieke maar mooie heldere stem. Koude rillingen kwamen toen Jacob zijn solo deed. Ik werd zelfs emotioneel toen ik het de eerste keer hoorde. Bedankt broer en zus Koopman voor dit mooie duet. Ik zag Jacob stiekem trots zijn op zijn zusje!!!!!

I am always amazed by your sister's singing voice. Unique. So soft, full of harmony and yet so expressive. I have heard many well-known musicians who had less potential in their voice and are still famous. That also applies to your singing voice, Jacob. Singing and music seem to have been in your blood from the very beginning. I take my hat off to you both!!

I would love to see a "making of" video of this. In the best videos of you busking, it's fascinating to see you building up the layers of loop tracks. Seeing it come together layer by layer really allows musically clueless people like myself to appreciate what you do in far greater depth than simply getting the (stunning) finished product. This format seems highly amenable to that sort of thing.
