Alcos were the real supporters of indian railway in past and still give their contribution ,but railway doesnt cares they says that alcos produce a lot of polution and this reason makes no sense , i love alco locomotives ,in simple words alcos are real beast and will have a special place in every railfans hearts

Superb. This is the powerful capibility of Diesel engines, it can as a single carry run so many bogies in a easiest way, electric engines cannot do that. That is why plz keep Diesel engines forever , they look very brave smart stylish.

Its better as the loco pilots should have their cabins either side of the Loco for better viewing whats ahead of them.

I would still keep them around in a protected environment, ready to be pressed into service, should there be a need. Nothing compares to them in the experience department.

Please keep WDM Diesel engines forever for pulling all types of Rajdhani express train , because it has already proved it's worth very valuable. WDM Diesel looks more high standard than electric engines. Diesel engines like WDM has true capability of running 160 kmph only if track signal is very clear and if permission is given allowed to run 160 kmph. Whenever most of the time WDM comes in a mood position of running 160 kmph it is found by the loco pilots they get information that the line signal is not clear . This most of the time doesn't happens with wap electric engines .
