Single IC stereo LED VU Meter LM3914 or LM3915 or LM3916 | first in the world?

Күн бұрынI show you how to make Stereo with Single IC LM3914 or LM3915 or LM3916 VU METER LED circuit.
The IC is specifically design for voltage level indicators, so it is widely used as a peak level indicator, engine speed indicator on motorcycles and cars (RPM indicator), etc.
The both Transistors (C1815) in this circuit is works alternately to cut off the signal input "Left and Right" alternately depending the frequency on transformer or electric sources at your home.
This circuit need input signal at least 2.5 Watt.
You can do it yourself even you don't have an electronic skills yet, just watch carefully conscientiously and use Play & Pause button to catch something for the details.
Attention!
Especially in the transformer you must be careful, because the primary side will be connected directly to the power source at your home.

In 12 volt we can only install 4 pcs 3 volt LEDs in series for each pin the IC output.

Can i use 6v or 9v center tapped transformer? Is it possible to extend to 20 led for each channel with another one lm3915 ic? Your audio input source?

You can use 6 or 9 volt CT transformer, You can expand 90dB for LM3915 (30 LED), in this video audio input connect directly to speaker.

Thanks for responding..i made 20+20 led each channel with 4 ics..and i used Bluetooth audio module kit's output alongwith lm358 basic op amp. Powered with mobile charger..can i use bc547 instead those transistors..

You can use any TUN (Transistor Universal NPN), but you have pay attention into EBC pin.
