Copper Creek Cuts Lawn Care

Copper Creek Cuts Lawn Care

Күн бұрын

Though I can say I only charged them $45 for 3 hours of work, so there's that.
0:00 One of the windiest work days I have ever had
0:15 5-foot tall weeds (6 footer coming up!)
0:22 Trash day!
0:45 No clue how it got this bad, I didn't ask
1:00 My guess is it didn't get cut all winter
1:15 These things are COVERED in thorns. Shouldn't touch them
1:45 The TORO is hungry...
1:58 Why you shouldn't care what order I do the overgrown lawn
2:10 Why are you mowing tall grass with the mower flap down?
2:33 Mowing tall grass will either be done a 5" or 3"
3:03 If done at 5" a second pass at 3" will follow
3:30 Here's why I leave debris at the street for city pickup...
4:00 ...and why you are a dummy if you say I should have taken it away
4:41 Mowing away from my precious truck
5:00 Why do you wear that mask?
5:30 I am glad I decided to push to street.
5:40 Wind would have made mulching with mower a nightmare.
6:24 Tackling the narrow side yard
6:55 String trimming tall grass and weeds along house
7:29 Blowing debris from side yard to back yard
7:52 Another mow/string trim for stragglers
8:05 Messy side yard gets mowed real good
8:26 See how much goes to the neighbor's yard?
8:36 With the chute up it would have been much worse.
9:00 Cleaning up the neighbor's yard
9:40 Why am I not using the mower?
10:00 String trimming along house and utilities
10:16 From right to left, valve box, backflow preventer, rain sensor
10:40 Green circle in the ground is cellulose trap for termites
10:59 black wrapped pipe is water supply to house I think
11:14 Doing cracks is always small thing that makes big difference
11:30 These are water meter boxes
11:49 Telephone communications box
12:00 Time to work on the street!
12:28 Driveway cracks are always a must
12:41 These metal posts were installed for support when house was built
13:00 Blowing side yard debris to back.
13:24 Mowing clean the fence line
13:42 There was a deck drop to 3”
14:00 I can hear the ‘u suk at dis, no str8 lines’ comments already
14:40 I have NEVER cared this much about debris management…
15:10 But homeowner specifically asked about how it would look when all done
15:40 And I promised it would look perfect...so it will.
16:00 PUSH IT REAL GOOD
16:15 final string trim?!
16:30 blowing all that junk to the back
16:43 RAISE THE FLAPS!!!!!
17:20 SO MUCH WIND
17:42 final blow?!
17:52 Can’t forget to clean Ol’ Faithful
17:59 No, not final string trim
18:05 Time for the edging!
18:25 If this isn’t oddly satisfying I don’t know what is
18:33 The white driveway is throwing off my white balance :D
18:45 Thankfully the edging went pretty quickly
19:15 Well, everything goes quickly when you speed it up four times normal
19:40 What a tool
19:48 That could have been bad
20:00 Raking went pretty easy
20:23 They were mostly dry at this point so weighed not much
20:45 Remember, if you think I should have hauled away, go back and watch the whole video for why you are wrong :)
21:03 Final cleanup
21:37 From frightening to fantastic
21:50 Oh, by the way, how is your day?
22:30 I hope it is going well, and I hope you enjoyed the video!
23:30 I will leave you with this drone shot, bye for now!

When I was a little girl we had a woman and her two children who lived on the corner. Her lawn looked atrocious. We found out that her husband had just passed away, and everything was so overwhelming to her. So, my dad, and three other men in the neighborhood took turns mowing her yard, and helping her keep things in check. This was before associations and all that bureaucracy. This was neighbors helping neighbors. It's nice to see someone doing what should be done. No calling the association president and complaining. Just being a good neighbor/person, and helping someone. Great job!

You know that's actually an interesting point you make there. I am also on the northern end of FL and in my area they also pick up yard debris and bulk trash. They just use the regular trash trucks tho. And in my area typically I still see the yard company's carry away a large amount of the yard clippings, but for the home owners we just leave tubs off it for pickup. Interesting.

Good that you talk to all ages and fend-off unknowing criticism at the same time. Also, keep showing that you use a respirator. I once caught a nasty case of Aspergillosis from inhaling dust from a lawn job I was doing for a neighbor. It’s just not worth taking the chance.
