The grandfather was lonely and slowly dying. He loves having them with him now. He eats much better and smiles more now. In my area, a family took in their great grandmother who the doctors said was dying. She got better and became active again, participating in canning garden vegetables and lived 5 more years and went peacefully in her sleep at 98 years old. In my family, my Mom, my sister and myself took care of our elderly family memebers at home, and they were happy to have family around them. They loved when a new baby was put in their lap, and they would think about this new life began because they had married and had children and grandchildren. They are remembered.
