As a daughter, I can say the best things you, as a father, can do for your daughter are: -walk with Jesus in surrender and continue to grow in your relationship with Him. Listen to Holy Spirit daily and make decisions with Him. -if her mom and you are together, love your wife well. If not and her mom is alive/present, treat her with respect and dignity -be present in your daughter's life and connect with her regularly

I haven’t lost my grandparents yet. My grandfather is 90 and my 81. They’ve definitely had questions about why they’re still here. I don’t know the answer to that but ik I still want them in my life, I can’t imagine life without them, and there’s so much I have yet to learn from them. I’ve nvr expressed it out loud to them bc it’s a selfish desire and value they value their independence and have no issues w dying bc they don’t want to be a burden. (Every reason they gave was bc they didn’t want to be a burden financially or emotionally or spiritually). That’s probably their influence bc I don’t want to burden them w my selfish desires even when I should. I think and hope your children and grandchildren feel the same.

Thank you!! It has been very tough and somewhat lonely over the last 7 years. I've honestly fallen a couple of times and let my flesh get in the way, but God continued to pour out his grace and mercy. It literally brings tears down my face while I'm sharing this because of the love of our Father. I have learned through deeper intimacy with the Lord that he is more than enough and even if he doesn't bless me with a wife that I will be full of joy and live a blessed life!
