I am a huge fan of making EPs. When I’m done with an album I always feel like I can’t possibly make another one. I like to use the EP as a reset. Kind of like what you said with them being experiments. They don’t have the weight of the all mighty album and it gets me excited to make another LP.

In my opinion the number is a chapter which means a main division of a book, typically with a number or title while the song title is a song title more of chapter 1 leaning towards book 📕 📖 📚. For me as a listener studio album 💿 and book 📖 📕 are the same. Because both books and studio albums have a song title and a number right next to it which is book 📕 📖 📚 and chapter. It’s true albums are book 📕 📖 📚. And it dosen’t matter if you say mini book or chapter book 📕 or full book 📕 but in general albums are book 📕. Chapters is a main division of a book, typically with a number or title and a book and a studio album both featured chapter and number and title and it lines up correctly it is a book 📕 📖 📚. And the way how it is detailed too. A book is a larger collection of pages, typically with a length of more than 100 pages. It can be a work of fiction, non-fiction, or a combination of both. Books are often intended to be read over a longer period of time and can be broken down into chapters or sections. A booklet, on the other hand, is a smaller collection of pages, typically with a length of less than 100 pages. It can be a brochure, pamphlet, or a short guide. Booklets are often intended to be read in one sitting and provide concise information on a specific topic. In conclusion, the difference between a book and a booklet is significant. A book is generally a larger and more comprehensive work, while a booklet is smaller and more focused. Understanding the distinction between the two can help writers and readers choose the appropriate format for their needs. It’s important to keep in mind that the terms “book” and “booklet” are not always used consistently in the publishing industry. Some publishers may use the term “booklet” to describe a work that others would consider a full book, while others may use the term “book” for a shorter work. It’s always a good idea to check the length and scope of a work before deciding whether to call it a book or a booklet. A book is generally a larger and more comprehensive work, while a booklet is smaller and more focused. The distinction between a book and a booklet can help writers and readers choose the appropriate format for their needs. The terms “book” and “booklet” are not always used consistently in the publishing industry, so it’s important to check the length and scope of a work before deciding what to call it. And both book 📕 📖 📚 and studio album 💿 has a number and song title next to each other which means the song title is right next to the number like example track and chapter are exactly the same thing. Chapter means A chapter is a main division of a book, usually with a number or title. Example instead of Track 3 it would be called Chapter 3. Break It Down Again. Or Chapter 4. Advice For The Young At Heart. I was even surprised you sang the demo of advice for the young at heart and Curt sang the album 💿 version it’s a huge compliment from my family to yours. And the outro from advice for the young at heart is actually from swords and knifes which is on Chapter 6 and it segues Year of the knife which is on Chapter 7 and segues Chapter 8 Famous Last Words. It dosen’t matter how you say it if an album total 🟰 duration is about 29:25 and it has about 10 chapters it would considered a mini book 📕 📖 📚 but an album that has 8 chapters and the total 🟰 duration is about 49:37 it would consider as a full book 📖 📕 📚 to me it dosen’t matter how long or short the albums are but in my preference albums are books 📖 📚 📕. Usually the songs on an album are the result of an artist's creations during a season of life. This means the songs can all speak to a similar set of themes, ideas and topics. So the aim of an album name is to try and sum up the big story/concept that all the songs pull from when they were written. It's not always like these, especially today. But traditionally, an album is like a "book" with the songs inside being like "chapters." It is a cohesive collection of songs used to tell a bigger theme or project an overall vibe. Think of an album as a book. And your songs as chapters. Every book has chapters. Every album has songs. Each chapter is different. Each song is different. But the collection of chapters (the collection of songs) is what tells the full story of the book (of the album) 💿. An album (Latin albus, white), in ancient Rome, was a board chalked or painted white, on which decrees, edicts, and other public notices were inscribed in black. It was from this that in medieval and modern times, album came to denote a book of blank pages in which verses, autographs, sketches, photographs and the like are collected. This in turn led to the modern meaning of an album as a collection of audio recordings issued as a single item. The first audio albums were actually published by the publishers of photograph albums. Single 78 rpm records were sold in a brown heavy paper sleeve with a large hole in the center so the record's label could be seen. The fragile records were stored on their sides. By the mid-1920s, photo album publishers sold collections of empty sleeves of heavier paper in bound volumes with stiff covers slightly larger than the 10" popular records. (Classical records measured 12".) On the paper cover in small type were the words "Record Album." Now records could be stored vertically with the record not touching the shelf, and the term was applied to the collection. Do you agreed 👍 albums are books 📖 📚 📖?

With a lot of artists doing "waterfall" type releases, and building the album as they go, do you think there's an amount of time that is too long for the entire album release? I've seen artists do 5, 6, 7 singles and take a year or 2 for the album to be complete. Or even releasing all of the songs as singles and then calling it an album. What are your thoughts on that?

That's absolutely annoying. There's a massive letdown when the album drops, and there's only a quarter of the album that is new material. The hype for the album's release is built up over the year of singles being dropped until it hits a brick wall with the "oh that's it" feeling you get. It also affects the overall structure of the album's story. Songs will have specific placements across an album the set the tone from start to finish. If we've already heard most of the songs, then we already know the tone of most of the album before it even releases. It's like having someone spoil a movie's ending and then watching the same movie to see the ending firsthand.

3 singles after a 2-3 year hiatus, 12 tracks, a deluxe edition that has 2 songs that didn't make the final cut and 1 or 2 acoustic covers of singles, and that's it. No EPs, don't have 5 singles for one album, and make music with passion instead of trying to make music that will get you on the radio easily.

in my opinion it would be awesome going to a library and chatting with a librarian to know about their opinion to compare a book 📕 📖 📚 to a studio album 💿 example the outsiders I would use it as a example for a book 📕 📖 📚 or any book 📕 📖 I would use for example like Harry Potter and the scorcher’s stone. And compare it with a studio album 💿 example Vertical Horizon Everything You Want it has 11 chapters and the total 🟰 duration is about 45:45 my opinion is In my opinion the number is a chapter which means a main division of a book, typically with a number or title while the song title is a song title more of chapter 1 leaning towards book 📕 📖 📚. But traditionally, an album is like a "book" with the songs inside being like "chapters." chapters in a book yes taking taking the different song sections and compiling them building out a story is like a mini book with different chapters and uh adding in those details to make the song really shine . Chapters of the book are very detailed and some people say instead of track one they say chapter one yeah 👍. so with the different uh uh the analogy to storytelling is is maybe not even an analogy it might even be like exactly the same because the song lyrics are in essence telling a story um other people who said the music of the words uh or the music of the words then the Rhythm then the bass then the basic Baseline Melody then tweak the words then detail of the melody harmonies then transitions then tweak the harmonies then recycle ♻. And ask the librarian her own opinion about it and ask the librarian is it a big cd case or small cd case. And I hope you would do a KZfaq video on it and spread the word that would be awesome 😎.
