How so? At 2:34 you can see the mic already hooked up on him when he walked up, then when he sits down you can really see the mic on his hip. This is clearly staged. Also how is it that every person asks “can I sit” “is it ok for me to sit”, nobody in real life talks like that! This whole thing is fishy with MAYBE possible real scenes from real life.

i replayed the part about his mum at the end of the video like 10 times. i lost my mum in june of 2022 and never sought therapy (strong cultural stigma around mental health/ help seeking) and hearing him talk to freely and casually about how therapy helped him learn how to honour his mum and recognise that he got to spend his most important childhood years with her were so profound and relatable/ comforting and at the same time made me realise i could gain so much by seeing a therapist for my grief too. really glad he got to have a moment to honour her in this video!

Yeah that was wild. Like first of all, don't prank someone with a life threatening issue and be mad they do the responsible thing and call for help for you. Second of all, that's not a thing you prank about.

I’m kind of curious why when they called him he didn’t ask “hey if it’s that bad why are you calling me I’m not a doctor? Have you called an ambulance yet? If not I’ll call for one now” I guess it was a super quick and panicked call like “omg this happened, he’s screaming in pain, quick come over, bye”, but still if I’m basically a third party, I’d be curious whether anyone else called for an ambulance by that time, especially since that’s not a free service in the US to my knowledge, I thought it was common knowledge that you should ask the injured person whether they’re prepared to cover that cost because it’s upwards of thousands of dollars. I could be wrong.. Like, imagine in the time that you jump up and run over you didn’t think there’s at least one other person there with the injured friend and what are they doing? Just sitting on their hands waiting for me to show up and save the day? Why did they call me and not an ambulance? What do they think I’ll do when I get there? Wave a magic wand and fix the problem or just join them in observing the friend in agony? And why did the friend assume they would run over ‘to help’, unless he’s get some medical training why would they think he was confident in running over to help his friend? Either the friend is assuming he’s an idiot who thinks he has the power to save him or the friend is the idiot for assuming he would run over just to watch. Either way he still should have let them know he was calling an ambulance, or at least asked them if they’d called for one already (because it’s not free).

He asked them that and they responded with “I’m not sure that he wants an ambulance” which any American would assume this means “we don’t think we can afford an ambulance for this situation so we will drive him to the hospital ourselves” Being that kason is a good friend he probably thought sending an ambulance over would be most beneficial anyways cause he thinks his friend is current suffering from a broken shoulder. An ambulance close to wherever they are at could reach the friend sooner than it would take for him to get there (also we don’t know what kason was in the middle of doing when his friends called so also the option of leaving immediately is a factor). In the end if he really was hurt they could’ve worked out the cost of the ambulance…. Long story short his friends just suck for joking like that His

Isn't high school and college supposed to prepare you to be an adult? I feel a lot of people in college are so wrapped up in the social aspect, that they don't learn much about living in the real world. When I was 19 I was living on my own and working full time and barely scraping by, but I was adulting.

I'm gonna be 26 in a few months and I'm still figuring shit out, as are all the other "adults" around me. The older you get, the more you realize that no one ever has it all figured out. We're all still growing at every age, and there's always going to be an "adult-ier" adult. Hopefully you find comfort in knowing that none of us really know what we're doing until we've already done it :)
