I was at this show about 15 people from the front row on Glenn Tipton’s side. I just turned 17 the week before and partied straight for seven days. The 1983 US Festival in San Bernardino California. 350,000+ metalheads rocking out to Quite Riot, Mötley Crüe, Ozzy Osbourne, Judas Priest, Triumph, Scorpions and Van Halen to close out the night. One of the best concerts I’ve been to in my life. I’ve been to hundreds of shows this by far the biggest and the craziest I’ve ever been to. Fun reaction to something that takes me back to my teenage years.👏👏👏🤙🤙🤙🤘🤘🤘

My favourite song of theirs is The Green Manalishi with the Two Pronged Crown. It is clearly one of their best, as they chose it as the centrepiece of their induction to the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame, which made for a great video by the way.

Great version of this tune. I would also recommend Run of the Mill off their first album; such a different song for them that really showcases Rob's range and the band is really tight as well. Thanks for the video!

Listen to " Blood Red Skies" off the "Ram it Down" album from Judas Priest. The vocals of Rob Halford are on another planet. Studio version is a lot clearer.

I would suggest listening to the studio performances of any of their songs, however the best live performances are from the 1983/4 screaming for vengeance tour, in my opinion. Particularly, the song Screaming For Vengeance, or the Hellion/Electric Eye, Riding On The Wind, and some earlier stuff like from Unleashed in the East, the Sinner, or Diamonds and Rust. Mainly just enjoy💖
