Marcelito Pomoy is definitely in the elite singing bracket. He blows people out of the water. What is more amazing is the fact that he never ever had a real training and lessons in singing, he's self-taught. Don't forget that he's performing live, sitting down, effortlessly and no strain is visible in his face, that's how good he is. The more you react to him the more you will be in awe. Marcelito did at the end was like he's trying to spit the girl from his body. He was joking in front of his fans outside the bus. Please check out his rendition of POWER OF LOVE at wish 107.5. Also, check out his amazing performances in AGT The Champions edition. He blew the roof off!!

Marcelito's inspiring story ~ Marcelito's father was incarcerated and at just 7 yrs old, his mother abandoned him on the poverty ridden streets of a city in The Phillipines. He would sing to comfort himself when he was afraid and lonely. To survive he cleaned chicken coops for coins and he sang to the chickens. Through all of that Marcelito remained kind, gentle and humble. The Prayer, he signature song, was literally his prayers as a child ~ for God to keep him safe and guide him when he didn't know what to do. Everything he sings has a certain something that grasps peoples' hearts. Marcelito has had absolutely no vocal training and is self taught. He can sing all genres of music both male and female vocals and in 6 languages. Check out his performance of Time to Say Goodbye on AGT The Champions, The Power of Love and other songs on the wish bus, as well as Never Enough, You Raise Me Up, Despacito and many more from the One Magical Night Concert.

Emma, new subscriber, first reaction. I love your positive response to this amazing performance. As a professional, you chose to accept the uniqueness of his abilities and concentrate on the quality of his voice. Some call it a parlor trick and try to reject it because it it so unusual that they can't explain it. That is ridiculous because he has a magnificent voice of his own or he could not produce a note of this caliber. if you like his Celine Dion voice, find his performance of "The Power of Love" - again on the WISH Bus. So much talent in Asia that doesnt get any exposure in the west . Can I also suggest you look at ----SoHyang ( Sth Korea), Morissette Amon ( The philippines), 4th Impact ( the Philippines), Katrina Verlarde ( The philippines) ....all amazing but virtually unknown in USA , Uk , Australia , Europe.

Hi Emma - thank you for the wonderful response to Marcelito Pomoy: I assume that you are very interested in exceptional voices. Click through to the Russians and listen to a young Russian woman: the name is "Diana Ankudinova" - I have never heard anything so unusual in my life. Diana sings Russian folklore (e.g. "Rechenka"), but also covers "Wicked Games", "Take On Me", "Havana" and many more. She just turned 18, started singing at the age of 10 and has a tragic childhood story (see Wikipedia). I would be very, very happy if I could see and hear your reactions to Diana soon...!

I have so much respect for Marcelito! He is the opposite of Dimash. What Dimash does is stretch a song to always bring his range into it. Sometimes he destroys the song by doing this! Don't get me wrong, Dimash has amazing skills but Marcelito will always pay honor to those who made the song. He also will take a step back and allow others to get the limelight! Watch his duet with Morissette on her song Secret Love Song! He comes in and steals the show but drops his register to mid range so Morrissette can be the star!
