6 жыл бұрынThis was the reefing of the Lady Philomena on June 23, 2018. This 120' ship was a confiscated drug-running ship that was donated to the county. The county installed 4 reef pyramids in the open cargo bay. It is one of the more popular shipwreck dive sites in the Volusia County area.

Her life has not ended it’s just beginning she is now a nursery for young fish. And an educational tool for divers better to do this than scrap it and turn it into more polluting machines

Can you imagine what it would be like to actually be going down with the ship? The under water shots were scary to me.

The end of a boat or ship is always sad to me. They did a ton of work, crossed many miles...then it's over. 😔🌹⚓

I looked at that rusty unloved looking hulk and thought, "Yes, it looks like its time has come." Then I realised that it was actually the nicely painted boat near it that was sinking!

Great video. Well done. I filmed a reefing off Palm Beach, FL a few years back. Great fishing spot now.

you can see how the water shifted from the stern to the bow, with nothing installed and the water weight! fascinating!

That ship would have a lot of suction as it went down so it would be tough but maybe you could just return to the surface
