Police in Northern Ireland have been given another 48 hours to continue questioning Sinn Fein leader, Gerry Adams, in connection with a 1972 murder.
He has been in custody since Wednesday over the death of Jean McConville, a mother of 10 from Belfast.
Adams, once the spokesman for the Irish Republican Army and now a popular politician, rejects involvement in McConville's killing.
