The reason for the switch is so the offside of engine doesn't get starved of oil at the angle the bike sits.

Thats not the reason at all, any engine will run with the side stand down, including my 2022 Sinnis Terrain, its prevent you some selecting first with the engine running

I removed one bolt from switch,turned switch 90° tighten the remaining bolt,job done 2mins

That doesn't prevent the engine from starting, it prevents the engine from running if in a gear, its a big safety feature, not sure what you would gain from modifying this

Does the bike not start on centre stand aswell??

Do not do this modification if you run the engine on the side stand it can starve the oil going to oil filter and pump, also it's a safety feature and if disconnected could cause you to have an accident

These bikes have had good reviews and the only bad points that have been risen ive seen is the kill switch and also the speed well i have the answer to the speed also so Please like share & subscribe lots more to come
