I think it could be similar to Kecleon and Smeargle where there is something they need to figure out then release it a month or two before the event.

I would have thought that all Sinnoh legendaries would be in the tour, not just Palkia and Dialga. At the very least, Giratina should be included in here. I hope there's a build up event in January to include them since we have Regigigas in December. I just need Palkia, the lake trio and Heatran as well as Chatot in order to get everything that is currently available in the Sinnoh dex

It’s most likely going to be in the golf course area. That is where they usually have Music Festival. I went there this past summer for one and the area is pretty big.

They actually use the golf course for big events. They may just use the golf course because it's all fenced in. Brookside Park is often used for family festival events and has 2 large playgrounds on it, one is hidden behind the Aquatics Center

You can choose if you want the stadium event or the golf course event when getting tickets.

I think it would be helpful to inform fellow trainers attending the in person event where good places to stay and what areas to stay away from and good places to play when not at the stadium. Kinda like the few videos mrsmime100 put out for go fest NYC.

In my opinion there's no way Arceus ends up in raids. Up until the last couple years it was barely obtainable legitimately in the main series games so I see it more likely being a special research.

In Legends Arceus you needed to complete the Pokedex to encounter Arceus. Would be cool if you needed to get all the Sinnoh Pokemon during the tour to unlock it during the event

I've long hoped for a Special Research where each step suggests you might encounter Manaphy, but you end up with Phione at the end of each page until finally getting a Manaphy at the end of the quest line.

They do have events on the golf course. They actually have people park on the golf course for overflow parking. I’ve gone to festival concert here not in the bowl but behind it on the grass golf course area. Most recently last summer for cruel world. It’s pretty big actually, 10k people big and 5 stages. I live in Pasadena so I’m looking forward to getting dropped off and picked up by my husband and home being a 5 minute car ride. I haven’t been to a ticked Pokémon Go event yet despite being a day 2 player so I’m excited!

I have been playing since start week and i was so excited for the first global tour. I had so much fun, i spent all day in my closest city shiny hunting and doing the collection challenges it was fun. But it seems like each year after its gotten just a little less good. Not enough that i could say its not worth it or that it was bad but just didnt have that same vibe. Which made sense of course the first one felt more special, but now looking back and now forward to this next event im just not sure why im planning a whole two days in the city to play from start to end? No shiny boost, no research (except for the separate master work which you cant complete for ages anyway) no current mention of even collection challenges So what am i going for? Team rocket? Can do that wherever and honestly whenever Dex hunting? Ive got everything i can get from this one except those not released Shinies? I dont want to spend 8 hours in the southern hemisphere walking around for none boosted rates. So what does that leave me doing? Hoping i get a couple of random shiny hatches? I just dont think i can be excited for this, and that makes me sad. I honestly love this game, i have had so much fun playing, i want to catch them all, i do. But at this point im starting to really feel like they dont want me to play, to have fun to be apart of this world they created and thats sad. I hope over the next few months maybe more information will come out and i can get excited for this. But at the moment i think i might just check the spawns at home during the day and thats it

I hope there is a shiny boost for global. Last year only some of the spawns were boosted. Some of those spawns being Trapinch, and the already perma-boosted pokemon. I hope niantic does something like that again at least.

at 3:10 all 3 of them are mythicals at 4:40 im guessing that they will work like the beast and eon where if you take a picture of them and have a chance to catch it once then they will run away but there will be a timed research that will give you a encounter with them and they cant run away

Niantic messed up big time with the MX City event. There were roads shut down because of parades blocking our path to 3 Eevee stops, and one of the parks with most of the Eevee stops closed two hours before the end of Sundays event. We had to call two ubers on the first day and three on the second, and made it with literally less than 2 minutes to spare each day.

I don't understand why they don't include the initial boosted event to a city or 2 in every country?? They can do it, asks it wouldn't involve any extra work for them on the ground. It's all well and good having the Global Event, but as we've seen in recent years it's so diluted compared to the in person city events it doesn't hold the same attraction or worth...I mean for the majority of players NO SHINY BOOST for the global makes it not worth the effort at all🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🙄NIANTIC listen to us....oh, forgot the company is still tone deaf to it's customers....

A prior leak was giving Manaphe and Phione for an event in December and then released in shiny at the go tour, and Arceus released at go tour with its shiny locked behind a paywall. Another leak that came after did not mention Manaphe and Phione and seems that they downgraded the tour by simply staring the origin forms of Dialga and Palkia (which was not part of the official announcement but seems to really be it since the name of season itself is a reference to them, I believe the big finale is their origin form). It is so disappointing because last year they made an effort to release kekleon in time to officially "finish" the hoenn dex on hoenn tour but it seems here that we won't have the sinnoh platinium medal at the end of this event. More disappointing is the shiny rate that is always a big part of these popular events.

Please have a video for first time travellers to L.A. In particular could you cover places to eat and the best way to play if you don’t rent a car. Thanks
