why is the dua in arabic? Isn't Allah the maker of all people? why is the Quran and this dikr in arabic? why do muslim reverts have to change their names to arabic names? this is why many Arab muslims think they're superior to other muslims, not fair

@@sachinnair91 Dua was made arabic but you can do it or customize it in your own language, no problem. Quran was in Arabic, many reasons to this. one of them is to preserve the original content of the Quran so it can't be manipulated. Muslims reverts are advised to change their names so it would have a beautiful meaning but some didn't change it cause their names already has meaning attached to it. If your name is Princess Consuella Bananahammock surely you'd have to change your name. Jamila means beautiful, Firdaus means top tier heaven. you choose. There's a history and reason why Islam was discovered in the arab land. You'd be surprised of the reason. I'm not an arab muslim. I get what you're concern about but their feeling and thinking are beyond my control and Islam has taught me that to take it easy in regards of that. Don't worry too much cause the arabs also know they ain't shit too.

@@sachinnair91 The Quran and our prayers (salah) and dhikr are all in Arabic to promote unity among Muslims. You can make personal duas in your own language, but the main parts of prayer are done in Arabic to unify Muslims worldwide. Imagine if an Indonesian Muslim prayed in Turkish while in Turkey, or a Moroccan prayed in Albanian in Albania-there would be confusion and a lack of unity. That's why prayers and dhikr are in one language, Arabic. As for reverts, they're not required to change their names, but many do so for personal reasons and to embrace their new Islamic identity. Hope this helps!
