Honestly, this and Gruesome are a breath of fresh air to death metal. I'm sick of all of these generic tech death bands that are more focused on making how to sweep pick DVD's than writing actual songs. Major kudos to these guys.

***** No actually despite how much people do this sort of style, I could tell it's Joey without even knowing it's him. That's called distinction and uniquity, he sounds like him even within a typical heavy drumming style

***** If I hear Slash play the guitar, I know it's him instantly, how many people play pentatonic blues scales? Everyone. Same with Joey, so many people play this style of drumming, but some how I can tell if it's Joey or not. It's not my fault your attention to detail is average.

+DarkAnima I am a fan of Joey's drumming, but the stuff he's released after Slipknot isn't on par with what he used to do. I'm guessing he doesn't have much energy for that kind of drumming nowadays, but I do miss it.

To me, Joey is irreplaceable. Like John Bonham. Saw him w/ Slipknot about 4x's. Can't remember. Played @ Denver Coliseum w/ Slayer, American Head Charge, and I think , Today's the Day. Anyway, Joey did a drum solo that I really can't describe! Other worldly. I'll never forget it! Tremendous loss. Being a "hack" drummer myself, his death really devastated me. I'm not a Korn fan. But his Slipknot/Sinsaenum music will be w/me until I check out of this world. Keep it real, people!

Been waiting on this for a while and to me it's the most legit thing he's done in a while. This is black metal for sure so unsure why it's being lorded as 'death' and with that in mind I can't wait to hear more. I really dig this song, it's a grower and it's simple so catchy (IF you like that sort of BM and you're not looking for the next Slipknot radio friendly unit shifter) and to the point... I like it. Thanks for sharing.

I think it's very important that everyone realize this is just the single. These are seldom the most interesting songs on the album. Not to say I don't dig this song, but I doubt it's the most complex/innovative. I'm super excited for this band. Fantastic potential.
