Lived in Sioux City from 1970 to 1980. Didn't leave because of the city. A good place to live.

My father was born in Sioux City in 1927 and in 1934 moved with his family to San Francisco (where I was born and raised). I have lived in a number of places but the Bay Area is the only place in which I have always felt at home.

I'm from Sioux City, small towns are nice but prefer living a big city. Just like being around lots of activities. Sioux City didn't have anything to offer.

Where are the children? This must be very early in the morning, seems like a ghost town. I am thinking of moving here but maybe not. But it looks nice quiet calm. Where do children play? I have a 10 year old son. Please tell me this is week day.
@BusaDave5 жыл бұрын
I filmed this on Wednesday April 15, 2015 at 9:30 am. I grew up there in the 70's on the north side (32nd and Nebraska St.). I don't know how it is now but there were lots of kids when I was young. I don't get back there very often.

I'm from the southwest... Why are homes built up on a hill from the sidewalk ? Noticed such a thing in Milwaukee also. Is it prestige, trespassing deterrent, flooding abatement or for better views ?

Honestly, they drove through the most boring locations, in the most boring time of year. It's not the most exciting place, certainly, but it has it's places. And while you wouldn't think it from this, population is actually just shy of 100,000 if you count our sister town of South Sioux City, which is only seperate due to a state line.
@chelleroberson32226 жыл бұрын
Jojy i am moving there next month. Gonna be a culture shock for sure coming from a town of 1.5 million and the 7th largest city in America
