Make America Native Again...
@kyomademon4533 жыл бұрын
@@robertallen6710 that would imply kicking them out to siberia and forbidding any human from living in the continent since natives themselves came from siberia to America

South Dakota, a state that remains quiet in the USA as not much it is talk about it compared to other states, but in fact it's surprising to see that America still have Native people and celebrations like this one still alive. Amazing to visit this place just to witness! Tourism should revive and promote such a great event...
@BonnieMagpie7 жыл бұрын
elvin vazquez ; Yes but would most of the proceeds go to The Indian ? when you start talking about tourism you won't be able to trust where the money goes and with tourists it spells money not the part about survival getting in touch with The Spiritual.

I think we should as a nation all get along. I see nothing wrong with hanging on to our past. No matter were you came from. But we are one nation. Live in peace. I'm a Conservative.

It's not a ceremony, it's a Pow-wow which is considered a social gathering...
@yaddahaysmarmalite40599 жыл бұрын
Someone mentioned below that a powwow is not a ceremony but a social gathering. I wish more dancers, MCs, Arena Directors and PW committees here in the East would remember that. They tend to get so serious around here, praying before they enter the circle EVERY TIME, bowing towards the circle as they walk backwards while exiting the circle, insisting everyone gets smudged before lining up for Grand Entry. It gets a bit silly and embarrassing sometimes, especially those people bowing when they exit the circle. Suckers for a joke they are!
