Synopsis of the Film “Sipaijee”
“Sipaijee” is based on the life of a widow of Army personnel, whose husband has sacrificed his life for our nation. Sipaijee highlights the struggle of the widow for upbringing of her family and her dedication towards the nation, who despite of losing her husband motivates her only son to join the Indian Army. Unfortunately her son, also fulfilling his commitment towards the family, lays down his life completing a mission of importance for the nation.

• “Sipaijee” has been produced by Shri Madhavanand G. Bhatt who hails from Pithoragarh, Uttarakhand, and resides in Mumbai, Maharashtra. The producer has attempted sincerely to contribute towards the people of Uttarakhand and accordingly, the film “Sipaijee” is produced.
• We are proud to say that, “Sipaijee” is the biggest budget film, which has been officially recognised and certified as UTTARAKHANDI FEATURE FILM by Censor Board.
• A first for “Sipaijee”:
• First movie produced and directed keeping in mind the goal of uniting the people of Uttarakhand by cutting across the language and regional barrier between Kumaon and Garhwal, hence the term Uttarakhandi.
• First Uttarakhandi movie to get the necessary sanction of the President of India for rendering army assistance to shoot the movie at key Army location in G.R.R.C., Lensdawn.
• Ministry of Defence, India also permitted shooting along with the jawans and officers belonging to Garhwal Rifles.
• “Sipaijee” has not just been cleared by Censor Board but also by Army H.Q., Ministry of Defence - India.
• The team of technicians and artists who were a part of “Sipaijee” belong to Uttarakhand.
• “Sipaijee” has been shot in 56 locations across Uttarakhand with proper permission and assistance of Government. In this manner the real beauty of Uttarakhand has not just been promoted but also immortalized We hereby put before you our plea by recognizing our efforts and attempts to generate employment, encouraging tourism and highlighting the scenic beauty of Uttarakhand.
