They're regular Metrocard turnstiles, hence why it said Entry. For how the SIR works, they only added turnstiles to St George and Tompkinsville (where you pay to enter and exit). They added turnstiles to Tompkinsville in 2010 to prevent people from getting off and walking to St George free of charge. Since only those two stations have turnstiles, it is possible to ride on it for free as long as you don't enter or exit at those stations. While the SIR has one line, there are other branches that used to be operational (now abandoned). St George has so many platforms because of that reason, it served the abandoned North Shore Branch as well.

R44s had glass in that little partition near the door, I've seen footage of r46s with them as well, but I think they were removed well before the general overhaul in the early '90s.

The R32s are now easy to catch. You no longer have to wait until rush hour. Just go during non-rush hour on the J, they will have at least 3-4 sets (R32 trains). During rush hour (7AM to 8:15 AM & 1:30 PM to 5:45 PM), they run like 5 R32 sets for Z skip-stop rush hour service. Good luck trying to catch the 1964-65 Budd. Company R32s (Brightliners) in revenue service on the J/Z lines, GoGo! The R179s will be out of commission for a while, as they undergo engineering inspections, repairs, as well as major hardware upgrades and improvements to the new cars so that an incident like this doesn't happen ever again. Brief backstory: R179s doors opened and closed in early January 2020 while in motion during two separate incidents as it was stopping at the stations, while in early June 2020 the couplers that hold the train cars together got separated from each other and left the other half of the train in the tunnel. Luckily no one was hurt in either incidents. Bombardier is no longer on future MTA NYCT subway contracts. Kawasaki will be delivering the R211s starting in 2020 to 2021 for testing, and then between 2023 and 2025 for revenue (passenger) service.

Hey GoGoSuprtoe here’s my suggestion: Take the (Q) train from Prospect Park and take it to Times Square. Transfer to the (7) train and take it to Grand Central. After that take the (5) train to 125 st and transfer to the (6) train and ride to Whitlock Avenue. There is park nearby called Concrete Plant Park where it has nice views and you should check it out.
