In English a noun is NOT followed by an adjective. ---> In English an adjective is followed by a noun (or an adjective comes before a noun). An adjective that comes after a noun is known as a 'postpositive or postnominal adjective' while an adjective that comes before a noun, as in English, is known as a 'prepositive adjective'.

Ok i'll tell two things. Here's a common example of a phrase with a noun and adjective: "As-siratu al-mustaqeem" as used here: quran.com/1/6 Also i realized that the word "yaum" in reference to that day (of resurrection, judgement or whatever) is always indefinite but the adjective is definite as you can see here: quran.com/1/4

Starlight Glimmer The 'Yawm Al Deen' you are talking about.... is not Adjective and Noun. It's something else, you will learn in lesson 27.
