What a great and creative idea! Adding the skeleton made it look so much better and believable. Both shots came out great but I think King Shark munching on that dude is my favorite Nom Nom!

I actually just started experimenting with blood FX the other day, making the full splatter from hot glue and spray painting it red. I did a couple of test shots with a ninja stabbing another ninja in the neck with a kunai and the blood looks pretty good.

Some of the techniques are simple and may times overlooked by those of us attempting to create the shots we envision. Can I just say, I really appreciate these videos. You've inspired me to do action figure photography. So far, I've done two Godzilla shoots and a Halo shoot and I'm having a great time doing it. I'm a pro photographer and this has been a wonderful creative outlet since my freelancing work has kind of dried up.

You’re very good at this!! Just a suggestion.., Get a Hacky Sack take it apart get different shades of red paint pens lights an darks.., Paint the insides of the Hacky Sack stuffing various shades of red after you shred them into different shapes and sizes... Have someone assist, by tossing the stuffing in two separate directions as you take shots to simulate spatter... like you did with the stones you tossed at Capatain America’s Shield in the Marvel Photos! You may need a spray bottle to wet down the Hacky Sack stuffings so it flows through the air properly As Spatter is Liquid dry Stuffings from a Hacky Sack wouldn’t flow through the shot properly an you more than likely wouldn’t achieve the desired results... also explore Merely water captured in red shades of light possibly? Again Spray bottle Mist might work? Just a suggestion... it’s your experiment do it your way... Keep the Dream Alive... Little Brother it all Begins with an Idea... The Idea Inspires a Myriad of others into the Dream that Began within you...

I didn't know glue gun sticks came in red, I was melting hot glue and then adding red acrylic paint and mixing it while the glue was hot, essentialy giving this same effect for the red hot glue except I can add whatever other color to it to add some burnt flesh/wound effect.

So awesome! I def have to give this technique a try.
