About SIREN:
“Siren” takes us inside Bristol Cove-a coastal town known for its legend of once being home to mermaids. When the arrival of a mysterious girl proves this folklore all too true, the battle between man and sea takes a very vicious turn as these predatory beings return to reclaim their right to the ocean. The series stars Alex Roe (“The 5th Wave”) as Ben, a bright marine biologist who finds himself drawn to a mysterious new girl in town, Ryn, played by Eline Powell (“Game of Thrones”), who is a strange young woman with a deep dark secret. Fola Evans-Akingbola (“An American Exorcism”) stars as Maddie, also a marine biologist who works with Ben, and is highly suspicious of Ryn. Ian Verdun (“Life’s a Drag”) stars as Xander, a deep sea fisherman on a quest to uncover the truth; and Rena Owen (“Star Wars” Episodes II and III) as Helen, the town eccentric who seems to know more about the mermaids than she lets on. Based on a story by Eric Wald and Dean White who both serve as executive produces. Emily Whitesell (“Finding Carter”) is on board as Showrunner and Executive Producer. Brad Luff, Nate Hopper and RD Robb are also attached as executive producers.

Tv series, Hulu, called Siren, awesome. Although being filmed in Vancouver they fucked up by not casting Cameron Bright. He'd make a fab merman

I love the detail of how Maddie snapped out of the trance when Ryn asked no more pretend. She suddenly realized Ryn wasn’t talking to her at all and it all due to the siren song.

I really like that this show treats it's audience like they are mature and intelligent enough to be able to understand the kind of developing relationship these three share. It's consistent about following through on what it sets up. No clickbait titles and thumbnail screenshots that they don't get delivered on. Looks like a great episode when SHTF.

wrong. it's inconsistent. they slept in the bed platonic in season 1. they all lived apart at the end of season 1. after maddie hears the siren song through the noise-cancelling headphones the very next episode was a forced polyamorous episode for valentines day. Consistent isn't introducing siren characters then completely writing them out of the show to draw in viewers with young attractive actors. if freeform is so LGBT friendly why did they force Xander to play a straight man? It's to bring in ratings and people like you who aren't even interested in sirens have turned this show into a human "Lost Girl" Love triangle show.

I wasn't shocked by Maddie's outburst. I was shocked when Ryn said, "No more pretend?" Then I was like, busted!!! Ain't no coming back from that. Then the way that Ben excused himself right after, talking about Maddie hasn't been feeling like herself and Ryn's awkward "thank you" for the food. I laughed so hard!!! 😂😂😂 It was funny to me.

I wasn't shocked when Ryn said "No more pretend". Remember just before they entered the house Ben told her to pretend and he introduced her as an exchange student from Finland (love that they chose "Fin" land) anyway and there is still that innocence and honesty about Ryn where she says what comes to mind. So when Maddie kissed I could see her asking that. There was also the conversation she had with Nicole at the base when they were looking at Ben doing the test and she asked Ryn how she felt about Ben and Maddie and her response was that she loved them and she makes love with them.

@@souixds Yes, I know that. My being shocked had nothing to do with all of that, and more so with the fact that Ben nor Maddie could come back from it after Ryn said that. Ben and Maddie cover for Ryn all the time. This moment was pivotal, because even though she didn't do anything bad it's one of those moments where they couldn't come up with anything to suit or cover for what Ryn said. Furthermore, it really makes them look more suspicious, even if it's about something as innocent as making love with someone you love.

Ben was more aware of the implication of Maddie revealing their secret. Run was kissing some she loves. Ben showed his love by running to check on Maddie, disregarding explaining himself to his family

When I first watched this I couldn't help but cover my face with embarrassment for some reason 😂😂....And when Maddie realized what she did she looked like she wanted to vomit or die or both....Then Ben was like "I'm just gonna....👉✌👉"....And then Ryn was like "Thank you for food"--__--. Yes, Ben and Maddie are slowly losing control. Even Vander said they needed to get their heads checked. It's amazing watching their egos, and how everyone thinks they're so in control, and the one being in the group (Ryn) who is the most aggressive and primal by nature has the most control of all.

I really hope the writers don't mess this up. The whole xander and maddie thing is ridiculous. Maddie and xander broke up along time ago she said so herself in season one. I hate how xander and her mom are treating her relationship with Ben and ryn like its toxic it makes no sense.

I dont think they see Ryn as toxic as in it's a female and a threeway relationship. They are worried about what Ryns abilities can do to both Ben and Maddies brains. And me too, I truely hope the writers keep this up. It's different, unique and interesting. Good representation :3

ben and maddie broke up at the end of season 1. Ryn lived with helen. they messed this how up by murdering donna, murdering sarge, writing out the entire cast of mermaids that was previously introduced then refusing to write siren stories or characters because they bring in viewers with hot young actors.
