About SIREN:
“Siren” takes us inside Bristol Cove-a coastal town known for its legend of once being home to mermaids. When the arrival of a mysterious girl proves this folklore all too true, the battle between man and sea takes a very vicious turn as these predatory beings return to reclaim their right to the ocean. The series stars Alex Roe (“The 5th Wave”) as Ben, a bright marine biologist who finds himself drawn to a mysterious new girl in town, Ryn, played by Eline Powell (“Game of Thrones”), who is a strange young woman with a deep dark secret. Fola Evans-Akingbola (“An American Exorcism”) stars as Maddie, also a marine biologist who works with Ben, and is highly suspicious of Ryn. Ian Verdun (“Life’s a Drag”) stars as Xander, a deep sea fisherman on a quest to uncover the truth; and Rena Owen (“Star Wars” Episodes II and III) as Helen, the town eccentric who seems to know more about the mermaids than she lets on. Based on a story by Eric Wald and Dean White who both serve as executive produces. Emily Whitesell (“Finding Carter”) is on board as Showrunner and Executive Producer. I just don't like that fact that zander is not taking the blame for his father death. he went out there hunting them and they defend there self. plus he sneak and took his fathers boat out without telling, or asking him. not knowing that his father was asleep on it.

Kendra Poznanski Plus knowing what humans not only did to Donna but what they did to the sirens a long time ago. I get it because none of that has anything to do with Xander’s dad but at the same time Xander does shoulder a good bit of the blame for it happening.

Last night's episode was GREAT I mean all of the episodes of siren so far are great but really liked this one. It covered ALOT! Also appreciate the slow build up this season. It doesn't feel rushed or too fast. Can't wait till next week

Marvel Fan No, what I mean is even while they are in siren/mermaid form They probably still have the same sexual organs just hidden beneath Scales. So they probably just do the same thing humans do but in Water. And of course when they shed their tail everything is revealed. And yes they can also make babies on land

they could do a crossover type thing. Sirens as warriors and defenders while mermaids are the peacemakers and healers. goldfin and silvertails

@@n.jboltz599 interesting idea. If I was to do a crossover idea, I would make the mermaids from H2o just add water more rare, like their is fair more of the merpeople from the Siren show. As for the H2o mermaids they will be like myth to the Siren mermaids kind of like goddess of the ocean and land, as they where said to have powers fair beyond anything ever seen. And in come cases its true. My OC would have been 100% human until she ended up in a moon pool under the light of the Full Moon, but unlike the mermaids of H2O just add water, or mako mermaids, she will have the ability of creation and life..... making her a type of goddess. That would be amazing!!!

Interestingly enough, the actress who played Donna and the actress who played her daughter were not that far off in age. I believe Donna was only about 2 yrs older than her daughter (in real life)

Me too! Not only that, I am curious how it works there. Not littely but how it works with reproduction strategy. Do fathers play a role in raising the little ones? Are they monogamic? Polygamic? How do they woo each other? Stuff like that. I am very curious to stuff like this :)

Yall ignorant and so use to patriarchy. It’s a matriarchy the mothers and community of women raise the kids fathers r irrelevant no such thing in nature. They’re jus sperm doners. There’s a good separation between the males n females. Lineage is passed on frm mother to daughter.

She’s not. Ryn is obviously older than her. I think Ryn might be in her 20 or 30s and Donnas daughter might still be a teenager or a young adult.

@@ninaloveray Ryn is apparently meant to correlate roughly to a human in her early 20s....Cami, a few years younger. We don't know how old the characters really are, though. It is implied at one point that the merfolk might be much older than they look, but we still don't know for sure. Ryn just said that she had seen the whales migrate "many times". Ben asked her, "How many times? Like 50? Or 100?" But Ryn did not answer, leaving us to wonder if she just did not feel like answering, if she did not understand, if she was not sure how to answer, if she did not know, or if she really could be over 100.

According to the last episode, it's EXTREMELY painful for the males. :P The females apparently bite, scratch, and then bludgeon the males with their tails. :) They didn't really go into specifics after that, unfortunately....but they probably will later. :)

Levi (the one who killed Xander's father), Eliza (the blonde), Sarge (the Samoan looking dude/the one who bowed down next to Helen), Viv (the other dark skinned mermaid), Katrina (the one giving ryn an attitude/ex leader) and lastly Cami (Donna's daughter/Ryn's niece) hope this helps xx

@@zzrodriguez03 Possibly....I saw shades of that in Sarge, though.....playing with Helen's hair and then bowing to her....I think we are just seeing more of Levi's emotional development right now because they focused more on him in the last episode. It's not really as much about the merfolk developing human emotions as emulating behaviors and seeing things from a different point of view. The emotions are really the same. Different social groups just react to them differently, and there are other differences, like the merfolk not dreaming....
