About SIREN:
“Siren” takes us inside Bristol Cove-a coastal town known for its legend of once being home to mermaids. When the arrival of a mysterious girl proves this folklore all too true, the battle between man and sea takes a very vicious turn as these predatory beings return to reclaim their right to the ocean. The series stars Alex Roe (“The 5th Wave”) as Ben, a bright marine biologist who finds himself drawn to a mysterious new girl in town, Ryn, played by Eline Powell (“Game of Thrones”), who is a strange young woman with a deep dark secret. Fola Evans-Akingbola (“An American Exorcism”) stars as Maddie, also a marine biologist who works with Ben, and is highly suspicious of Ryn. Ian Verdun (“Life’s a Drag”) stars as Xander, a deep sea fisherman on a quest to uncover the truth; and Rena Owen (“Star Wars” Episodes II and III) as Helen, the town eccentric who seems to know more about the mermaids than she lets on. Based on a story by Eric Wald and Dean White who both serve as executive produces. Emily Whitesell (“Finding Carter”) is on board as Showrunner and Executive Producer. Brad Luff, Nate Hopper and RD Robb are also attached as executive producers.

marques jones it’s in his bloodline bx being a fisherman is party of his ancestry, and with that being said he’s probably drawn to the ocean bx it’s linked to mermaids. His GGG Grandfather was beyond over protective he wouldn't even let her join her people without bloodshed Ben has allowed her back to the water plenty of times without haunting her down or stalking her infact she has gone back plenty times for weeks to a month on end but she always came back to him on her own accord. Their love story is clearly different from his ancestry that's why Ryn love to Ben is much stronger and their connection is closer. Ben becoming Merman is not really that bad we don't know if he was even part merman before the injections. Maybe the injections only kick started his genes that were all blocked from his mother side of the family We know next to nothing about his mother or her family linage maybe she's part Mermaid that could be part reason why she and her husband were attacked by a mermaid when she lost her legs.

Complete bullshit. Do you not realize how selfish and manipulative he is when it comes to Ryn? “This is the only way” “ we need those” and since Ryn doesn’t know much about relationships, she thinks it’s ok for him to dictate what they should do in situations. That’s kind of what I’m thinking. That even if he really does stop the injections, he might have already gone way too far with them and this time the effect won’t wear off and may even start spreading/accelerating.

Well, he has mer genes doesn’t he? So this isn’t shocking to me. Powles (misspelled?) are related to them. The cells he taking would renew his potential. But why didn’t Tia stay human? She said she was on land for a long time! I don’t want Ben and Ryan separated! But I don’t want Ryn land bound. Plus I don’t want this series to end anytime soon.

Never thought he was fully human. I had this theory about Elaine being some other kind of water creature from legend such as a selkie or rusalka. Which would explain why the stem cells are working so well without rejection and how he can free dive so deep without any ill effects.

I was PISSSSSSED cause I really thought that Ben was gonna get a tail and be able to FULLY metamorphose! I was also PISSSSSSED when Maddie freaked Ryn out so that she talked him into throwing them down the drain. Hopefully we get a season 4 and 5 because it's honestly OWED to the world at this point.

No, its not. Ben has been transforming cuz of the cells, but if you watched last night’s episode, they stated that Ryn will have to choose between land or water at some point, because, like Robb, she can’t keep transforming forever

He probably was already semi-transform in the water. And the attack he experience in the boat was the effect of going back to normal. He say to Ryn later in the episode that what he experience was the same as her when she transforms from siren to human.

Jenny C. It had nothing to do with the gills being covered. Gills and mammalian lungs have completely different ways of drawing oxygen out of the substance we breathe. Even removing the wetsuit wouldn’t stop him from suffocating if he wasn’t able to revert back to normal lungs quickly enough because his body wouldn’t be able to pull oxygen out of the air, which would mean his organs couldn’t get the oxygen they needed and would start shutting down. I think part of the concern with the continued injections is that he could end up stuck halfway and not be able to breathe air OR water.

She didn’t know he had gills when she said that. She assumed he was injured, and the first thing you do with something like that is remove anything that might be constricting breathing (including clothing). “Don’t get technical with me.” Why? Well maybe the writers can expand new story about Maddie and Robb. Since Robb made huge sacrificed to lose his tails to be on land, to find the solution for the water pollution. Maddie also has interest in cleaning the environment/water so thats why she went to Robb's conference at the first place. I mean theres so much more to explore on Robb's character and his relationship with Maddie can be developed more.

hobi I highly doubt it would make the show boring asl and I doubt it would be a happily ever after type of thing I believe they would implement some complications (as they always do) and there are a lot of other characters in this show that it wouldn’t be possible for it to become boring because of one character and I mean this isn’t h2o this show isn’t really about a happily ever after there will always be some bs happening 😂

@@undrielgrenger53 what the f*** are you talkin about I came to the show from the first season and I said wow this is very interesting I find the show fascinating so I started to watch it because it was different and the concept was different now a love story is not fascinating to me it's the same concept that use for that other show called Roswell on another channel and I like to add you know nothing about me to call me a closet you understand whateverso don't go around labeling someone you don't know on the internet and I was State again the show was much more interested in the first three season this season I'm not really feeling it like that because the showrunners change the show it's not what Ben been being a junkie on mermaid stem cell and it is obsessed with her Ren even Maddie said in the last episode you and him being together all the time that's what brought us to this so Maddie was basically telling her you pussy whooped him now he can't think straight and like I posted before some of the writers that wrote the first preseason did not write this season I read that somewhere and I don't know how true it is but it seems to pan out and if you want to call that good TV where you see a grown man sticking a needle into his hand like a junkie that something is definitely wrong with you and maybe you got that closet complex
