The siren is a brand new installation. It was installed during the replacement process of old Tesla UEAJ-II sirens in Blansko in October 2023. Four orginal sirens were replaced and two additional (including this one) were installed, making a total of 6 sirens in the town. We think the anomalies that happened in this video, which affected most of the sirens, are a result of a conflict between the internal hardware of those sirens and a BMIS boradcast. Updates will come if we receive official statements from the authorities. Tato siréna byla čerstvě nainstalována. Její instalace proběhla během obměny varovného systému v Blansku v říjnu 2023, ve které byly nahrazeny původni sirény Tesla UEAJ-II. Čtyři původní sirény byly přímo nahrazeny a navíc byly nainstalovány dvě nové (včetně této). V Blansku je nyní celkem 6 sirén. Myslíme si, že k chybám, které ve videu zazněly, došlo kvůli kolizi hardwarových protokolů (nahrávek zabudovaných v paměti sirény) s vysíláním z rozvodny pro BMIS, a to u více sirén. Budeme vás dále informovat, pokud dostaneme vyjádření ze strany pověřeného úřadu nebo techniků.

It should use four languages during the pre-test announcement - Czech, English, German and Russian. This time though, It surprisingly went interesting due to a few things failing (possibly).

Hey! I would like to ask you two questions: 1. Why and when did the sirens have russian added to them? 2. I'm very sure you own some sirens, are you supposed to turn them on at the exact same time the ones owned by the czech government are tested? I meant as in they give you the exact time when to turn them on, and other specifications. Love from Poland! ❤

Firstly, sorry for the late reply. To your questiions: 1. That verbal announcement was enabled for Ukrainian refugees, so they can better understand It's a test. It's like this since the start of the Russo-Ukrainian war. 2. No, we don't need to turn them on right at that time. We are not obliged to do anything and we test our sirens along others as a part of our hobby. Our devices are not connected into the national warning system in any way. But, we still do it, because we want to match with other sirens sounding-off in the town. Love from Czechia! ❤️

Basically. The regional Fire Service office said they don't really mind us sounding-off the testing signal. I believe It's best to test it along with other sirens during nationwide siren-tests tho. :)

@@CzechSirenTech Ah i see, one more question, where do you get your sirens? Do you have to dig extremely deep in the web for a let's say Hoermann siren or something similiar?

It's all about asking and seeking. Sometimes, companies gift us redundant parts. Sometimes, we help with dismantling older mechanical sirens. And sometimes, there are places to buy some of these.

It's due to the war in Ukraine. The Russian announcement is there so that Ukrainian refugees can better understand that a test is imminent.

Já myslel že čeština má být první, pak angličtina, němčina a pak ruština... Ale jinak tam byl zásek v té angličtině 2:03 jinak tady v minutě je blbě daný 2x po sobě gong 🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️

Taky to tak má být. Ale bylo to z nějakého důvodu jinak. Špatně odvysílaný gong je zde rovnou 4x. Pravděpodobný důvod, proč se tak mohlo stát, je v komentářích.
